I'm really annoyed because I can't remember my Gamertag E-mail password, and the parent E-mail to that one accidentally got deleted. T ^T I can't recover the password because the E-mail was deleted, even though I have my current phone number hooked up to it. APPARENTLY because once you send the first verification code (that tells Microsoft you own the account) to your phone, the NEXT code has to be sent to the E-mail because you can't use one or the other more than once. .__. I am pissed.

And I am too much of a wuss to call support as I am super shy on the phone and can't ever argue with people. uvu' I wish I had a double that could do it for me. I have all my credit card information and whatnot that I've used on that account, but the live chat support guy told me they can't use that as "it could violate a person's security"... >_> I'm really annoyed. All my achievements and awesome icons and shit just gone. Bye bye.

-Snug- Yeah. uvu It's really annoying. Like any other time you contact a company with all your info (credit card, name, zip code, etc) they're like "yep here we will reset it". Even then when I had my Guild Wars 2 account reset I just sent in a ticket and they reset it without any verification. x_x I DON'T WANT TO PLAY AND LOSE ALL MY STUFF.

 

That's real shitty Grimm. I had that problem a while ago when I switched from Roadrunner to FiOS.

I just explained the situation, and gave them the account information and they were able to switch everything over to the new parent email, the FiOS one.

weird how the hot rolled mill finish remained on the part higher in the etch bath but wipes off easily from the part lower in the bath. they were both covered with a resist and etched for the same amount of time. some details got a little messed up but it looks okay. I tried to darken it with cider vinegar, but it didn't work well. I'll try to heat grey it in the shop (800*F to 1,000*F) and if that doesn't work I can always oil blacken it and rub it back with a little steel wool

 

Hm.. I wonder if I tried to contact Microsoft support if they could update the old E-mail to the current one?

I've heard of them but can't find them locally and usually I don't want to order them online because the shipping is pretty crazy

 

It has been deleted. :c I accidentally deleted it when I had this problem last time. >_> I was switching my old old E-mail to this new one I have now on the account and accidentally deleted the old one. -_-

I talked to them again tonight and they said they could get my account back, but I have to get the console ID number on one of the old consoles we had...or a console that I had logged on to at a friend's. x_x

 

Ouch, that might complicate things.

Did you register the console? Send it in to get repaired? Maybe they can track it that way.

 

I haven't had the console in literally aaaaaaages. I know I signed in on my dad's XBox before we sold it to my friend though! So I am at least HOPING he still has it. >_>

 

Couldn't hurt to check. I can't think of any other course you could take.

 

Thanks for the input though! Any bit helps. I just hate how basically everyone BUT Microsoft is strict but still kinda lenient with security but sometimes they are just... NOOOOO.
