What Is On Your Mind?

Well I've just received a call from a job I applied for. I have an interview and work trail tomorrow. I'm so nervous.

Although I made a slight mistake of not preparing formal clothes for the interview. Quick shop for a nice shirt before hand is in order.

 

I am now caught up on MLP episodes. A lot of major changes have happpened.

It's only a tempt job at the minute for a few extra hours while the Christmas rush happens. But hopefully they may keep me.

That's if I past the interview and all that.

 

In other news, I'm excited for this Wednesday because that should be my paycheck from my hell week a couple weeks ago.

I'm working on digitalizing all my traditional sketches for prints and future button designs. I forgot my tablet at home so I won't be able to do that for my 2 hour break between classes today, however....

Good question! I'm not sure. You see on the site it says the medium size fits: 86-94 cm (33.8"- 37") bust, 64-71 cm (25.2"-28")for waist, 91-99 cm (25.8"-39")for hips . Taking my measurements I fall in the middle of those. But after unzipping it, stepping in I can barely pull it over my shoulders... and even if I can, feels like it's getting pulled a little too tight in some areas, afraid of ripping it.
I'd it'd fit someone with bust of 81-86 cm, 58-64 cm waist, and 86-91 waist. It's got a 2-way zipper from the collar in the front all the way down, under to the top of the butt. So, you know... access.
Sigh, I'll just have to order another one in a larger size... I mean, it's not THAT expensive... just annoying.

Well, Microsoft and I sorted some things out. Needless to say, I am still -VERY- pissed off. I had to give them the console ID number of a console I once had my Gamertag on. It now belongs to a friend and he was kind enough to give me the console ID. Which is utterly ridiculous still because they wanted to know a date down to the goddamn month and year (not just a oh I think it was fall of 20xx). >_>

To which I gave them an estimated guess anyway, BUT Halo 5 gets released tonight. -_- My game is a digital download code, so if I bind it to a newly made account I won't be able to play it on my old Gamertag. >_> I am... Pretty mad. Microsoft's whole policy of "let's be super strict and srs aboot security guise" just needs to go up in a blaze. x_x I'm fucking sick of this. I've been working on it since Friday and the lady today, after being supplied with the console ID, told me: "Here's a reference number. Check your E-mail in 72 hours to see if the recovery team has gotten to this request yet. Have a nice day!" WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT RESETTING A FUCKING PASSWORD????

 

@Kyvinaria well yeah I have had 10 years but new places are scary.

But speaking of my old place I just received a phone call from one of my colleagues. She said a customer rang to say I have missed placed a parcel on Sunday. Well I took no parcel on Sunday and would never take something without the proper paperwork. My colleague then rings the lady making the claim and she changes her story to Thursday.

I told her the woman is clearly a scammer and to retrain anyone that is taking parcels without the correct paperwork

 

My god... we can go Trick or Treating in Destiny till November 9th!

Granted, Trick or Treating in Destiny is more along the lines of kills during the Crucible and while on patrol, but still. And masks!

 

Speaking of scammers... my father has now become even more computer illiterate than before (not knowing the difference between a browser, a search engine and an OS). Seems he let a person (Indian accent) access to his computer. And now he's had all sort of problems with his computer (malware and a virus). While I was over house-stting I got a call from same guy, told him he wasn't home and he asked "Ok, are you at your computer". Hung up on the fucktard.
So he had a subscription to some service that apparently fix is computer (with remote access) ... which also have people with Indian accent. I asked him "How do you know thier legit?" He tells me "I don't." But he lets them do whatever they want in his computer.
AND he leaves the computer while they have remote access... you would think you'd want to watch to see what they're doing. So, they go ahead an install things.

And not bothering to tell me about this before letting ever Tom, Dick and Harry play with his computer. Is there something about trusting me with it?

 

Ah, the the Microsoft support from India... Still going strong I see.

on another note, what happens when a fat acceptance activist and someone who grew up in a country where a good 85% of people can't even eat one full meal a day get into an argument over privilege? it. was. epic.

also I now have an armchair 'expert' telling me I'm wrong and that some advice I left for a friend in response to their question on how to do something is wrong even though the friend already posted the finished piece and mentioned me and the advice on the page. provided them a link to a video demonstrating said technique, complete radio silence. lol
