This one dude at college really annoys me. Like, he gives off a vibe of "I'm desperate for any female's attention". And I see he talks to a ton of girls every day, so why does he gotta bother me when I'm trying to do shit at school?

 

Ugh, there's a bunch of guys like that at my work and personally I'm like "...seriously dude, please stop", it was so bad that I felt uncomfortable.

 

I have a love/hate relationship with my intuition...it at times is very powerful and sometimes too much.

I couldn't stop thinking about the ex the last couple of days and this morning I left for work and saw some of my stuff in front of the door. She never said anything about it but last night I had a feeling she was around and couldn't shake it.

Suffice to say I feel super weird.

 

Sooo... I'm wanting to learn some beginning bondage techniques. Anyone with experience: Can you recommend good beginner techniques to learn first? I can probably find sources for whatever I may want to learn online, so I'm more looking into what to learn first! There's a lot to it, so I'm a bit unsure where to begin.

 

I don't have any hands on experience, but I've read crap tons of bondage focused literature and 99% of the time the first step in learning to be successful in bondage or being a dom is reading up on the mental and safety aspects of it before anything else. Learning to analyze your partner's mind to figure out how to press their buttons, helping them discover things about themselves they didn't know, and pushing their boundaries all while making sure everything is completely safe and under your control.

There was this bondage manga I read called Nana To Kaoru about a shrimpy young high school guy and the girl he'd had a crush on for years. Through a series of events he ended up becoming her dom and there was a scene where he had directed her to walk through a path in a public park with her coat open to show her body being tied up shibari style. She was extremely aroused but also very scared, but what she didn't know is that the boy had spent weeks studying the area and staying there for hours at that time of night, checking traffic flow, blind spots, and emergency exit points all to make sure his crush would be safe when he sent her. This is the heart of bondage creating the illusion of danger or excitement while keeping your sub safe.

All that being said, once you've gotten those aspects of bondage, I would think you would want to start with the most widely known and easily started forms of bondage: collars/leash, bed restraints, blindfolds, temperature play, sensory depravation to name a few.
I hope this actually helped and wasn't just a whole bunch of reading for nothing X_X

 

There's a bi-monthly BDSM fetish club that meets at one of the nightclubs in Ybor.

The couple times I've been there, and talked to people, they've told me the most important thing to worry about is the person being retrained, or receiving punishment if they're into Impact. Make sure you have plenty of water and anything else to lower the person's body temperature after you're/they're done, as they will be very weak and hot. And either a cream or lotion or something to apply. Bondage gear can chaff and leave the skin very rough and sensitive.

And I was wondering about learning the art of rope bondage, but I suppose "pre-made" restraints would be much easier.

1.) Surgery complications have made a catheter bag necessary.

Thankyew. I got a Kage in Opal (I had to. It was so pretty), and a Hazel in the Sloppy Seconds GITD coloration. And some Teenie Weenies. Fingers crossed.

 

One time I went to a "convention" for leather women is SoCal. It was more of a large gathering than a convention and they had series of acts. Mostly on BDSM. The funny part was part of the bondage scene. It took a LONG time to complete and they were timing it the music. It was very complex. Unfortunately, the hard part was getting the girl out of it and the time was running short. Eventually somebody stepped in and cut the ropes as they were never going to get her out.
It sounds poorly planned but nobody was hurt, nobody freaked out and was actually kinda funny at the end.

I've been tied up in ropes before. It's fun... but not arousing. I did like being tied spread out on a fourposter bed though.

 

A club I sometimes go to has a "Ropebite" night, all about rope work. I haven't gone, but I've noticed it in their calender of events.
