What Is On Your Mind?

What is on my mind? After hearing different people say Mythbusters was being canceled, on hiatus, that B-Team left, that Adam and Jamie were just doing their own thing for a while, I finally managed to get to the bottom of it. Final season of Mythbusters premieres January 2016. T_T

So I wrote this! :'D

I was laughing until i remembered the video this is related to O.O

 

Assuming it's a SFM on Youtube, I generally don't watch the more meme-y/"WTF" ones. Only real exceptions have been Oggreagressive, Off Limits, JimboMcB's uploads prior to his disappearance, and Gravelpit In A Nutshell.

 

Just waiting for the weekend.... Hopefully work isn't terrible tomorrow.

 

It really pisses me off when I see ppl tracing artwork.
I commissioned some art from a person I really admired then someone on FA favorited it then traced over some parts for their own ref sheet. Its like come onnnnn. What makes you think no one would notice, what makes you think no one is going to call you out, and what

anyone is going to commission your no talent having ass. For real, who wants to get art from someone who doesn't know how to draw on their own? *fumes in a corner*

 

Went to buy a new motorcycle helmet today as my current one has had its day. Only one small problem... I have a giant head apparently. Of all of the helmets in the entire store only two XXL models from Shoei actually fit! Of course, they just happen to be hugely frigging expensive too...

So now I have a very expensive ($500 aud), very nice helmet! Figures that the $200 ones don't fit...

 

Ah, the perils of having a big head.

Whenever I use the line "what did I ever do to you" on my mom, she holds up her hands and says "YOUR HEAD WAS THIS BIG"

 

I like your mom's sense of humor! XD

On a similar train of thought. This is my source of entertainment at 3 in the morning.

 

And this is why I stopped drawing as much as I used to. People stealing art, drawing over it, or colouring it as their own art in a god awful way.
The Internet is a blessing also a curse for creative people. It's like when artists want to do a commission quick they just take a body reference trace over it and then put new heads on it or other bodily accessories.

 

This is why I often frown upon "Cookie Cutter Characters". Even if they made the template themselves, they're still just slapping a few things and a different color scheme over the base and then try to auction it off as the winner's sona....yet that person's sona is one of many clones. =_=

 

This is why I like to take commissions for characters that are relatively interesting and unique. I can never get myself motivated to drawn just simple normal furs or other personas.

that's why I do non-drawing stuff since the only way they could copy it is to actually make the things themselves and almost no one knows how to, they can always just save the image and try to claim it as their own, but that's just hilarious for me because when you ask them how they made it if it is theirs they just go silent and do whatever they can to dodge it

 

I have a character that was made like that. When you have one of those, you have to develop the character beyond what you bought.

Here's how she started. Just a custom-colored base.

Over time I used her sporadically in RP's, and she slowly developed a personality. Now she's a total video game nerd that manages a lingerie store and likes to LARP.

I think it's pretty obvious she's far more than the character I paid for to begin with.
