Man it feels like I haven't posted on here in a while.
So hello all, I'm still alive (barely) and just super swamped with school stuff.

 

I haven't toyed in a month cause I've been too lazy to dig the toys out of storage... -_-

 

Bah, it's been far too long since I've toyed as well. Just wasn't in the mood for a bit, and now I'm finding myself busy with other things.

 

Same. Busy busy busy. Sharing a household really kills the toying mood too.

 

I wish I had that excuse, for me I've been too damn busy to do anything but the ole "Southern Hand Shake"

 

only november 4th and already snow. it's all likely to melt off today but damn, it's almost never this early in the year

 

I am still very mad that the person from my group project jacked my job and making a presentation. They decided to just put pictures on a Word document...like, that is so lame and simple. We already lost points cuz hardly anyone gave me the information they were researching.....I am just so bitter about it and so mad.

 

why I'd rather do a massive project on my own than try to work with a bunch of randomly assigned apathetic assholes who barely pay attention or really do anything in a class. I always love to hear the shitty excuses they give for why they don't have the stuff on time "oh, I was out of town over the weekend, sorry" but we had like 3 months to work on it, you couldn't have done it ahead of time if you knew you were going to be gone? "um..."

 

Group projects? Only if I can choose my team. Even then I prefer to do things myself because I know it'll get done and be the way I want it. Thankfully we haven't had any crap group projects foisted on us in grad school (so far). If we work together it's because we want to.

 

I'm feeling surprisingly elated and happy, not sure why seeing as I have so much to get done, but I don't care cause I'm feeling good

 

Fuck me, I remember today why I prefer face-to-face conversation rather than texting or over the phone.

I kinda have the same problem. Add to the fact that whenever I want to, I don't have any privacy. And when I do, I don't feel iike doing it.

 

I'm officially 35 and 11 months old today. In one month it's my birthday.

also like 95% of the people at my school are extremely socially stunted, like asking someone politely if they can hold the door or pull the top cord on the bus because you're carrying a fuck ton of stuff in both hands just like causes them to crumple in on themselves like a paper bag of insecurity

 

Well my good deed for today has been done. Stopped a shoplifter from stealing stuff today. The owners were very grateful for the heads up and now the thief guy is put on their wall of shame.

 

That's good.
We finally have someone from 'Asset Protection', working graveyard shift, a few nights a week. Seems to be helping a bit, but I still keep finding used shoes under the shelves, in the apparel dept.

Oh BTW, last Saturday at 4:30am, we had a stabbing in the parking lot! The guy came in where we park the shopping carts, and got blood all over. He left a trail, clear to the middle of the store, As we are only equiped to handle small blood spills, so we had to hire out, to clean the majority of the mess.
I haven't heard how the victim was doing, or for that matter, heard anything on the news about it.

 

@Eloe Elwe how does something like that not get investigated?
