What Is On Your Mind?

In regards to what Reptile and Wolf said, I'm really happy there are people out there who recognize that people do mess up when they're nervous/flustered/under pressure/whatever. There have been so many times I have been yelled at to the point of being in tears because I've been called incompetent for being insanely clumsy and anxious when under pressure. I've been unable to perform at cash registers when I know my manager is staring down my neck or watching me closely to even see if I manage to fuck up, which usually leads to unhappy, impatient customers. I hate people who think that they can act like the top douchebag when people who get flustered under simple tasks because it literally does not make you look like the better person. More often than not, the people getting flustered are the most wonderful people you will meet, and the people who badger others over petty shit like that are always the meanest people.

In other regards, just wanted to say I hope everyone is having a fantastic time! And remember; don’t feel sad over someone who gave up on you, feel sorry for them because they gave up on someone who would have never given up on them. UuU ♥ Smooches.

I may have finally gotten a job... Granted it is down at our local gas station and I will be starting at $8.50 part time, but the lady said if I am doing good after 90 days or so I can get a $0.50 raise! So I would be up to $9.00 an hour. It may not be the perfect job and I would be working at a store in a small town but hey. I'm just happy to be starting up on life again. I hope when I get the money saved up to move out I will be able to start doing some pet work!

 

I have no idea, and there were like twenty police officers there.
I guess because it was not a shooting, it was not news worthy.

 

It's only news worthy for shootings when the shooters skin color is much lighter than the one who was shot.

The thing that pisses me off about media these days is that only the victims whose cases are popularly controversial (Racist, Sexist, Homophobia, etc) are covered by the media, and yet while they should pay equal attention to these issues in society, it pisses me off BECAUSE they are only getting that coverage due to being "Gay Man Shot By Homophobic Father", "Black Man Beaten By White Officer".....if their controversy were not the focus of the general population, the media couldn't give a rat's ass, and because of that many, many more issues of equal importance are "irrelevant".

To sum up what I am saying...

I'm only slightly concerned that I may have bounced all my files wrong and will have to do it again, which isn't a problem but will be a slight inconvenience.
But overall it is done...it feels so surreal that everything is happening on my way to graduation ^.=.^
