I feel like I have such a hard time juggling my real life, and my internet life at the same time.

From my point of view, no one else really seems to have this problem...it leaves me feeling very depressed, lonely, and left out. :C Making me want to distance myself more, which makes the problem worse, and the rift deeper.

 

I WANT TO EAT A SHIT TON AND NEVER GET FAT EVER.

 

For me it helps to not have a "real life". Or at least not much of one.

 

I actually value my real life and experiences over pictures and text on a screen.

I have an amazing boyfriend, and a fantastic dog. I love being outside and doing things with them. I hate smartphones, and being distracted from my wonderful family.

 

Well you can just get rid of the access to the web then.

People who aren't out going are internet users because they know their life is going no where so the cyber world is their only escape. Speaking from personal experience mind you. If I had the option to just travel with no worries I'd chuck in all my internet access in a heartbeat. I would only use it to update a blog or check in with my family anyway.

Even if you speak to us once a month I'm sure you'll be treated no differently by anyone here. You have accesses to a fuller life in the RL world I'd say take it.

 

I'm an introvert, and I live in the middle of nowhere.

 

Personally, I want to have a healthy balance of real life an internet life....unfortunately, I only occassionally get the opportunities for the former, and it's usually when shit hits the fan and I have to uproot....

For some reason that reminded me of the time one of the guys in the maintenance hangar I worked for got drenched in hydraulic fluid.

 

Thats the thing...like Rassandra said, I'd like a healthy balance of both. As most of my best friends are long distance, and I am an artist, and would like to keep some sort of relationship with my customers.
I'm not saying OH WELL I LIKE MY REAL LIFE TIME TO DITCH THE INTERNET, I just feel like theres a time and place for being online, and it's not when I'm out with my family or friends. I'm having a hard time balancing both. (referring to my first post)
