I've been tempted to try it out when I read up on how much money you can make for so little work. But I've never even taken naked pictures of myself before and I REALLY don't want to reveal who I am. That might be hard seeing as I have a face and tattoos on both of my arms that could be recognised.

No personal moral qualms about it myself, and I look decent naked for the most part (my legs and back could use work,) but I wonder how much men can make doing the same thing? Surely there's a market, but I kind of assume it's a little less lucrative.

edit: On my mind. I just realized how little some of my coworkers seem to know about me. I talked with a couple after shift today, and learned one of them thought I was married! That's a liiiiitle presumptuous! She also thought I was "about 20, maybe 22," (I'm 28.)

... I get the feeling these were just underhanded compliments. However, given the age comment, the fact that I was carrying handfuls of fruits and vegetables, and the ensuing conversation about exercise, I may have piqued their interest in health and fitness~.

That would be pretty sweet.

 

I don't know of any models that don't show their face (unless they are doing it for fun on chatroulette or something). I'd imagine it would be difficult since (from what I know) the big cam sites will not hire you if you hide your face. However you never know.
A lot of them do offer settings that allow you to block states or countries. I blocked my state and two other close states for a week but decided it didn't matter. Some other models block the whole US which is totally cool too! You do you.
My mom was wondering where I was getting so much money so I told her. No one else in my family knows. If they find out, oh well, but I'm not going to just tell them because it's irrelevant. The best way to know - in my mind - if you should cam is if you can imagine EVERYONE knowing what you do. If that doesn't bother you, go for it.

 

I cam... sort of.
I work off a site but they take about 65% of what I make. I'm working through a studio which takes about 35% of what's left. It was fine, I was still making a few hundred a week. Then we had the manager who ran off with all the models money, stole a check that comes by mail. And then we had another manager do it a month later.
... you know, I though things would be easier once getting a legit job. No, everything got more complicated.
Add to the fact that roommate makes it hard to work at all... so I have trouble getting time alone to work. I could work down at the Studio... but nobody picks up the goddamn phone (call before you come by).
... yeah, so I make between $0 and $13 bucks every two months now.

 

@Willow I recommend going straight with the company instead of "middleman" company. Typically the studio takes a lot of your pay and they are sketchy. Tried that, no bueno.

 

teacher tells me to write my honest opinion of an artist in a paper, I write the paper and give my honest opinion of the artist's work and methods, teacher then grades it down and chews me out because it happens to be one of their favorite artists and my opinion contradicts theirs. fucking bitch, if she wants people to do real work and not just write shit to pass then she should actually let you write your opinion when asked for it. I'm gonna have fun with the teacher evaluations this semester

Today has been very eventful.

-Spent most of the day at a Veterans Day parade with the Rough Riders, went to a bar afterwards and had lunch and drinks with family.
-Heard a "clanking" sound coming from my Jeep's engine. Didn't get a chance to look at it, but the oil was very low and may have caused some damage on one of the pistons. Broke the oil cap, so I need to get that replaced too.
-Did a lot of work clearing the area behind my house. I want to tear down the porch I have and rebuild it, maybe put in a small outdoor theater.

Now I get to relax, and listen to my neighbors cut branches hanging over and into my yard. All at the dark hour of 7:00.
