Yeesh, reminds me of the school districts that require absolutely no physical contact between students, regardless of context. A kid got suspended for hugging her crying cousin.

 

Whelp I just made a total emotional ass of myself in front of my boss. All because I forgot to take my tablet yesterday and was up to early this morning and forgot that tablet to.

 

In desperate need to practice my oral presentation for Tuesday...

I wrote something on it before however there's some stuff I do differently...when I get more time I'll write something up.

I hate to complain but I think I wrecked one of my toys inadvertently...or something small and four legged got to it! I'm choked! There's little tears all over the head and I can't tell if it's chemical damage or bite marks. Serves me right for leaving it in the sink overnight....grrrr... And it's the toy I go for the most too.

On the flip side however I picked up a broken laptop for $50. Cracked screen and no power adapter but it booted. Tore it apart and discovered the panel is the same as another parts machine I had so I swapped them and now I have a newish laptop! I installed Debian on it last night but have to dick around with wifi drivers still...

 

I wish you were kidding as well. What are they really going to do, though? I would genuinely like to see that (over)reaction.
...and perhaps get it on camera.

Yesterday I went to a Bring Me The Horizon concert. The sound was pretty shitty and the band didn't seem at all excited to be there. Except Oli. 5/10, might attend again.
