Well. As of the past week, eating broccoli, or really any proper vegetable or fruit (the part of broccoli that we eat is actually unblosomed flower stalks), would be a bad choice for mom. The issue? Insoluble fiber is really screwing with her stomach/gut, though the more soluble fiber such as in a baked potato seems to be fine. She's looking into scheduling a visit to a GI specialist since more than a tiny amount of any oil apparently (even peanut butter) is also messing with her, as well as for my brother (who has it way worse).
I've got a weird sorta masochism, generally any blunt or strain pain I really don't mind or even enjoy so long as it's not in my head. Pointed, crushing, or cutting pain, as well as tickling, I hate. I don't indulge in any of it unnecessarily, though, self-mutilation is bad mmmkay.
