What Is On Your Mind?

Work yesterday was crazy. Just about every customer was a complete tool. -_-

 

Those days are the worst. Luckily I have the next week off, so no ass hole customers for me

 

I just hope this trend doesn't continue into today. I'm not sure if I can take it...

Yeah I kind of had a break down at work last Saturday. Now everyone is off my case cause they were clearly giving me to much to do. So they have backed off. I even got an apology!

 

Last I checked, that was Microsoft making XBone users pay extra via Xbox Live Gold to access the internet on their device. At least I'm pretty sure Sony said they weren't going that route....yet. Maybe they changed their minds, I don't have a PS4 to confirm or disprove it and really don't feel like getting one.

 

With PS4, you now need a PS+ sub to play online. At least now both MS and Sony give a couple free games every month while you have a subscription

 

I'm using my janky beginner skills, forging is forging, whether you're banging on it by hand with a hammer or using a powerhammer that could obliterate all the bones in your hands. basically I drew out the rod a bit, rounded the shaft and then split the top with a hacksaw while the piece was held in a vice. then just heat, spread the tines, square and taper them then round them and do 2 scrolls

 

I want a really good gaming PC so I can run my games on max. It's just not worth it to me to get a console for one or two games, and I'll be using a computer anyways. Plus, only a few games I'm invested in are online play, one of which I'm disappointed is online. I'm talking about Starcraft 2, I only play Campaign/Single-Player, so what do I need to be online for?

 

But they used to give free game if you were a P+ member. So they are basically charging the person not only for the game but for multiplayer access as well. Never had that issue on the PS3. Used to play a load of killzone with friends for free.

 

I'm considering getting a new console. I want to play fallout 4 and dark souls 3 when it comes out. if I get PS4 I could play bloodborne, but with a Xboner I could play halo 5... hmmmm...

 

So they pulled that bullshit after all. 'Fraid that seals the deal for me then, or rather I should say murders it. Shame, I was looking forward to Killzone 4 and possibly having better PS2 emulation than what PCSX2 offers.

This is why I DESPISE exclusives, not enjoy them. It's simply a tactic to get more sales than your competitor, but in the end it winds up screwing over the vast majority of customers who want both titles but either can't afford both systems, don't want one system because of it's flaws/limitations, or because it'd be the only game they'd play on it and don't feel they can justify buying a whole machine just for one game.

 

eh, for anyone making the switch from xbox to ps4 it wouldn't make much difference since you already had to pay for xbox live gold to do online competitive. the one thing I'd consider would be price point between the two, a year of gold for the 360 is around $50

 

Keep in mind halo 5 has no split screen, so if that's the kind of thing you'd use it can be disappointing. S and I were going to play it together, but it's literally impossible to be in the same room and play the game with someone else on one console.

 

I don't usually do split screen so it's not really an issue

 

I think this is another part of the problem. Remember in the good ol' days of the console, when there were a ton of super cheap games? You don't see that very much any more with the Xbox and PlayStation consoles. It's all AAA titles and long-running series of games. I miss the five dollar games made by someone who may or may not have been licensed to make games on that console. That's what I always liked playing.

 

Which is why I refuse to buy a PS4 til my PS3 dies on me. Don't care if there are new games or whatever. Don't know when they'll stop making PS3 games either, but I don't play a lot of games to begin with.

 

Whelp PC is being an ass again. I think it reinstalled that stupid Windows patch that broke it the last time.

So annoying. You'd think they'd remove that annoying patch as soon as they added a fix for it.

 

Home from another interview. Ran up to one of the thousands of automotive dealerships in my area. There's a franchise that owns BMW, Range Rover, Subaru, BMW, Audi, Maseratti, and other non-American models. I have an interview set up with the GM next week, hopefully something comes out of this.
