some stuff I can use for metal work, jewelry and other basic stuff. not pictured is a big heavy bastard of a 1 ton arbor press. it'll need a little TLC and a lot of WD-40 but it'll go from okay to good, maybe even great

 

Someone needs to kick my ass into gear, I gotta study for my exams and try to get some packing done...I'm so fucking lazy and tired...

I really need to get my ass into gear and go to my new job. But it is Sunday and the buses are awfully.

heh, that's on my kitchen counter top. my workbench is already pretty overcrowded with everything from hacksaws to jugs of acid. before I build another workbench I'll need to get the garage cleaned out, which isn't going to happen anytime soon. grumpy OCD father keeps a ton of stuff he'll never do anything with and if he does actually do anything with the garage it'll only benefit him and his plans

Xmas shopping done, credit card paid. Now all I need to do is not spend anything for like two months. It's gotten a little out of hand.

 

I need to stop wasting my time with Angry Birds and Reddit. Too little is getting done damn it.

I'm in the same boat as @doit666 , my parents split up after I left and they're just trying to sell their house afap. (I prefer afap to asap). I've got no home to return to and out here all I've got is poster. When I get homesick I don't even have a surrogate family to spend time with as he's not out to his parents so I'm just a friend to them. It's a little harder some days, usually I'm okay. But sometimes I think about sit down meals with family and realize I have no idea when I'll be able to have another one.

 

In cases like these, I recommend finding friends that can be family. In many ways, they can be more supportive than blood relatives. It's true that it can take awhile to find true friends that can fulfill those needs, but can be well worth the effort.

 

honestly what I really need is my own place in general so I can get away from everyone else's shit so I'm not always stuck in the middle and expected to take sides
