Not to start an argument, but someone on my FB page posted a video from HuffPost Women titled "48 Things Women Hear In A Lifetime* *That Men Don't" Its supposedly about 80 years of "subtle" sexism summed up in two minutes.

Now, there's a couple I agree with. Most of them need context. And the rest are just ridiculous complaining.

@scalie : You're not the right type of gay if you don't fit a certain criteria. Shame on you for being an individual, with your own thoughts, opinions, and actions.

@Jazzi the Pegasus : Sorry Jazzi, I'm more of a leg worshiper.

Really the only time I have an issue with those types of listings or rants, is when it's presented as "My problems are bigger than your problems", or even worse, "Nobody else is suffering, just me/us". The big issue being either not paying attention to the fact that they're not the only ones in the world who have the odds stacked against them, or not caring.

Bonus hypocrisy points when they shun others once they start getting better treatment, the "You're not one of us anymore" mentality, or when they dismiss others with the exact same circumstances, the "You're not actually like us" mentality.

I'm trying to paint this years Christmas card, and I'm running out of time. Every idea I have come up with so far, is ether too complex or too time consuming, to make several hand painted copies of.

Maybe the quick session with Equiknot I just had will help........
If anything, I am really relaxed now.

 

I am now known as "Audi Club" at the sandwich shop I have lunch at. I always order the same thing, a club sandwich, and I'm always wearing my Audi uniform.

Which seems to be the norm these days with this new generation. Of which I'm ashamed to have to associate with.
