What Is On Your Mind?

I wasn't aware of this, but it's not really a damper on my plans...unless they lump mythical creatures like dragons and gryphons in that. Then I'll be sad.

EDIT: I looked over their AUP again, like I did before I created a trial account, and I was right. The only thing I see governing that is in regards to REAL LIFE......unless.....I don't play LoL so I don't know who they are, but if either Fizz or Sona is significantly human (Elf, Orc, Farie, Nekomimi/Inumimi/Humanoid Kitsunes, extremely human looking anthros) then it looks like it falls under their rule about sexualized humans not being allowed.

I'd teach my kids how to make a lot of their things themselves, scaling with age of course. Find a infant safe way for them to learn to build a toy car or some such (likely would require me prefabing a lot of it for them to learn to pop together at that age). My goal would be for them to have useful and practical trades by late adolescence that would help them find a way to make a living and improve their quality of living with their own work, but preferably also be something they enjoy.

There's lots of things in this world you can make without relying on big business hand-and-knee if you learn how. I'll find something they want to do.

Update. Posted an FA journal with links to screenshots of the clearly abusive admin messages that cited "Code of Conduct Violations" with the broadest and asinine interpretations I can imagine to justify it, when he himself is violating the CoC by doing so. Got some replies from people who watch me (not a lot of people, naturally), before Quoting_Mungo came along a few sparse hours ago and nuked it, then suspended my account for a month for "privacy violations".

What he does not understand, is privacy is rendered null when the matter concerns abuse or harassment. That said, I do believe that wraps up my time there, as I already live in an effective police state that covers itself in rose-tinted media (Your very own 'Murica), I don't have time for an online one as well.

Sadly, due to the nature of FA's posts, 90% of what anyone links to there I won't be able to see, so you'd have to post elsewhere or directly upload here now if you intend for me to view it.

While I stay as far away from the FA forums as I can, I do like posting my art there. It is one of the few places I can display my mostly non-furry art, without having to cover it with watermarks (as well as paying a monthly membership fee, like some of the art groups I once belonged to). I do have relatively few watchers though, so I rarely hear much about underhanded goings on there. When I do, I don't much care for what I hear. I'm sorry that you were banned for such a paltry reason.

 

The FA Forums don't even exist anymore, literally.

After Renashe (a well respected artist in the community, apparently) was forcibly removed from staff (he was made an anonymous administrator under questionable terms by Dragoneer intended to try and keep him under Neer's thumb), and Renashe publicly came forward about what happened and the state of FA, resulting in his ban from the site, IMVU went and tried to have all the forum staff members (who were a seperate entity from FA and thus not acquired in the purchace) sign a legally binding NDA to ensure none of them could leak anything.

However, they CLEARLY and deliberately withheld parts of the NDA contract from the staff, to hide red flags, and specifically required they send in their legal IDs (State ID Card, Driver's License, Military Service Card, etc), presumably so that if they violated the NDA they could be located and sued accordingly in court. None of the forums staff were okay with this, and all but three resigned on the spot. Two of the three were on vacation, including the lead admin, and the sole available moderator did what he could to stem the chaos caused by having next to no moderation.

At about this time, most of the FA team proper headed off to attend FA United with no concern for the whole issue. The lead admin of the forums and the other moderator got back, decided that they were not going to be a part of FA and IMVU, and moved the forums to a legally separate site. When Dragoneer and Co got back, he began harrassing them to return or shut down, to which (I believe they named themselves Phoenix or something?) refused. Unfortunately, because it was a straight migration of the forums due to the fact that the lead admin OWNED AND RAN the servers holding the FA Forums, rather than a new forum site with invitation to move and a shutdown of the FA Forums, IMVU came behind and cleaned up the mess by sending a Cease and Desist letter to them, citing that they were in possession of IMVU/FA's user data (which was sadly true as I recall the forums used FA profiles directly).

So now, FA has no forums at all, and it's been implied that to save resources and cut down on criticism, they do not plan on putting up a replacement.

Long story short, this is what I was criticizing FA for, and this is what Quoting_Mungo decided to brand "disrespect to staff".

could be possible, though you'd want to be careful with heat sensitive alkaloids, same goes for tobacco, coffee, chocolate, etc. too much heat for too long tends to reduce the yield of active organic compounds. most bio-chem majors would be cringing at my explanation but I'm going off the top of my head from what I remember and don't really care since my jimmies are rustled from dealing with a bunch of the clutter and shit in this house

Good riddance to that forum, as far as I'm concerned, far too many trolls for my taste.

 

Did I ever mention that when shit is served on my plate, I speak up about said shit? And if it's not remedied, I like to make sure everyone knows about that shit.

I wasn't naive, I did expect staff to throw their self-imposed authority around because it strokes their ego. I'm just the type who won't stay silent about it.

 

So saw the new Star Wars movie with my mom, and wow, by far one of the best films I've seen in quite some time
Normally I'm not one to go see movies, and when I do I only ever see them once. With this movie I'm willing to see it multiple times cause I feel it was THAT good! ^.=.^

 

I also just got back from seeing Star Wars, I liked it but I don't think my cousin did because when we got up I heard him say "that sucked."

No, he's older than me, I'm hearing him talking to his friend, he did like the movie, the "that sucked" was for the ending because he wasn't expecting it to end like that.
