Played with wax today; having burned my first candle I bought at Canton in two days to help with my cold (bergamont soy candle, plus a few drops of rosemary oil I added), I got the neat idea to remove the disk with it's stub of wick and melt down the rest of the wax and pour it into candle warmer disks (apparently called "tarts). I should mention I added extra rosemary oil, so when I put them on a wax warmer it'll be helpful for any colds or breathing problems down the road. They should also last much longer since they aren't being burned.

got my chaser's pitch melted into the bowl, interesting stuff, it looks like thick waxy milk chocolate. managed to avoid any horrible burns though if i were to do it over again I would've cast an extra half inch or so of concrete in the bottom of the bowl so it would come up over the lip so I could give it a slight bump towards the middle so it would be easier to use. what really matters though is that I at least have an inch and a half of depth so that I can get some good relief on metal. now to just wait for the tool steel to get here

Got quite a bit on my mind.
Curious to see how mom's surgery goes tomorrow morning. Other than that my mind is thinking up ways to upgrade a specific bass with my desired pickup configuration with desired fretboard, bridge, and even tuners.
Ugh why must I be poor T.=.T

In other news, the furgroup is doing a Zootopia event in March (they found a theater that will allow suiting and I can't get the day off of work.

I need to get back into trying to draw. I have so much stuff I want to get out of my head, it feels like it's going to burst.

 

Same thing with my Undertale AU comic I really want to start drawing, but dunno where I want to start quite yet and don't hae a finalized plotline.
