Expecting 1 to 2 feet of snow this weekend. The Potomac River is already starting to freeze over.

 

Yay it's finally snowing!!!

 

Banged my shin on a trailer hitch today. It doesn't hurt, but it is sore and there's a big black and blue mark.

On the topic of weather, I'm just going to stay over here. No one mind me.

 

And that's the wonderful thing about opinions. People don't have to agree! So long as they don't start little wars over differing opinions it's more diverse that way.

I personally think it's more complicated, with SOME Bronies being a branch off of the furry fandom, and others being their own subculture based around the show/merchandise/whathaveyou. Just like how someone who's into....perhaps the Gundam series, might not consider themselves to be into anime much; they don't identify with it's subculture, they just enjoy the mechs in it like they do the BattleTech franchise, for example, because mechs are cool to them.

Polandball cannot into space, but Pawelball can into Rassyspace.

 

And that's why I'm not fully a part of any fandom, I'm in my own comfortable definition of it. I'm not crazy about the merch or anything with MLP, and hardly watch the shows. I don't want a full-body fursuit, eitehr, but I love the art and the community. There are only certain qualities that I enjoy, and that's what I feel makes me a part of the fandom, without being the crazy fanatic kind hahaha.

 

fucking art supplies. just had to buy over $100 of paper for a class, if I hadn't gotten the bargain brand and got the expensive shit the teacher said is the best it would have been over $250. they really don't seem to get that most college students can't afford that kind of shit

 

I know, ridiculous isn't it? Some of my favorite watercolor paper goes for $50/ sheet! Paint is no laughing matter ether, I have one or two that cost me $20 for a 1/2 ounce tube. At least it goes a long way.

I'm ditching Skype permanently as of today. I did a complete reinstall of it, along with a purge of anything Skype-releated, and instead of fixing the few problems I had with it, it added more. I'm just sick of it.
From now on, you can find me on Steam, here, or on Telegram, all is in my signature. For voice chat purposes (mainly aimed at you @SnowLycan ) there's other solutions too, like Discord, Teamspeak 3, literally anything (well, maybe aside Steam voice chat, it's crap).

Yeah, but granted this is for 30" X 40", 500lb Arches Watercolor Paper, and it is made by hand. My usual paper is 22" X 30", 90lb or 140lb Arches, at around $16/sheet. Still pricey.

I haven't been out at all this week and I have work tomorrow. I think my stress level will be through the roof. If I don't have any interaction with people for a while even a few days I find them very overwhelming.

 

Back to work after an amazing day and a half off. Freaking out a it about the coming snow cause it's likely I'll get snowed in at work Friday...
