What Is On Your Mind?

Did not sleep well last night at all...I feel terrible.

 

For me, I have/make so much food with chilli in that food without chilli tastes a bit bland now.

*hugs* I know that feeling.

Well my day has just been amazing ...... NOT! First had a rough nights sleep with the night terrors. Next my hair wouldn't style, this is a major thing to me because it gives me confidence to face the world. (I know it's strange but ). Plus it's a usual sign that I'm going to have a bad day.
Get to work and notice the delivery is early yet again, more rushing around for me whoopie (−＿− But also noticed the shutter bins outside were completely empty. I thought nothing of it as my boss hadn't mentioned anything when I walked past. I assumed the night staff must have emptied it for stock take. Started to get on with my usual Sunday jobs before opening. When a lady knocked on my shop door, I went to see what she wanted as she was a regular and she was inquiring about the shutter bins. I told her it was nothing but thank you for your concern. Of course this bugged my subconscious so I went to ask my boss were have we stored the stock, or has it been stolen. He finally now tells me yeah it has. I'm like omg I just had a woman that could have helped and you tell me this now. I'll see if I can find her. All he says is note down what she tells you (lazy bugger didn't even offer to help). Find the woman luckily not far off. Took all the information on my notepad and gave it to me boss. I asked him had he ring the police yet and he said not yet but will do. So I carried on with my work, asked him again later he said he'll do it soon then the final time I ask him he says I am to busy could you do it. Like I am not busy enough baking and dealing with customers while you're sitting in the office. Still I did the call and took down all the info I needed and handed it to my boss. He just said thanks but didn't chase up anything else. Seriously how did he get that job role I'll never know. Going to have a word with the head boss sometime in the week about it.

 

Gotta love incompetent higher ups, huh?

I think I remember one such time. Like I said, almost never....also I forgot you were a Houstonian?

 

Arrg...what a long night.
Not so much hard, as the store looked remarkably good when I stared shift, which left more time to address problems I noted the last two days. I still hurt like hell in many of my joints, but now all I can think of is my honey is coming home tonight!
It's been a really long week without him!

 

The thought of having to go to work tomorrow... It certainly doesn't fill you with determination.

 

But then you notice an adorable coon's fluffy butt, and THAT fills you with determination.

 

There are a few furry butts around here that would fill me with the determination to go to work.................but probably not the kind of work that I would get paid for.

If you take my meaning. LOL

Really debating on selling my 5 string bass.
As much as I love it, I find it a bit too clumsy for the style of music I want to do.
So I'll probably be taking it and trading it out for another 4 string that I saw at the local music store.

I *sort of* figured how to do a "brushed metal" kind of texture in SAI. It isn't perfect yet, but I gotta keep experimenting with brush settings. I now know the method.

 

Replace tomorrow with today, and replace going to work for tomorrow with going to school tomorrow.

Yup, not even filled.

 

So yeah, driving on ice is not fun at all.
Had to go out to get something as well as start my car earlier, practically all the roads were covered in an inch of solid ice...woooo

 

Back to work tomorrow... Maybe I'll find out how much trouble I'm in for leaving Friday cause I got scared of the snow...

 

I'm actually excited to go back to work.

We've got 2 new hires starting and I get to train them.

 

I have to come up with a 5 scene transformational concept for one of my art classes and I'm drawing a massive blank. it's supposed to represent an thing or concept through time as it changes and it's going to be modeled in clay and then cast in brass or bronze. any suggestions?

 

OK that is really cool! I'm so going sky diving again once I've got a fursuit! Sky diving reindeer anyone?

 

think I've got my idea for the project, the professor will likely say it's kind of cliche but he says that about almost everything and i know I can make it look really good if I put the time into it

 

All I'm coming up with are things that actually age, like human hands and plants. I can't be abstractly creative.
