What Is On Your Mind?

I'm sort of embarrassed to admit that wish I could pull off a cute "scene" look. Like, I should've left that in my teenage years BUT NOPE.

 

I know what cute is, but wtf is "scene"

 

The here and now, what the cool kids are into. The current fashions, the current fad of that day/week

 

I wouldn't even know where to start with that. I just pick outfits I think I look good in. My favorite is my grey/black plad tights, black combat boots, and oversized grey Minnie Mouse sweater

 

I brought @Berit , @th3shad0w , both from my porn blog, and a few other folks who pop by from time to time.

 

I think I speak for most of us when I say I'd like to see that.

I never followed that. I'd be considered more "casual goth". Black jeans, black tshirts, that sort of thing, though if I could get a modern version of my costume from Haunt last year, I'd be mixing it up with that. It felt... right. Especially after 4 years of my costume being a redneck, basically.

 

To me I really don't like "Scene" people.
They tend to end up super arrogant and end up annoying the ever living hell out of me.

Human nature is so weird. My baby niece is only 2, but already acts like she knows better than I do. My younger sister is 15 and also thinks she knows better than I do, my parents are in their 50s and think they know better than I do (but to be fair they know a lot of stuff I don't, but they have to call me every 5 minutes to handle anything technological). I don't think there is any stage in the human life cycle where people aren't arrogant

 

Actually there is a stage where people aren't arrogant, it's called death.
Can't be arrogant when you're not breathing! XD

 

Hey I used to have a style like that. Just shorter.

 

Well after a few shitty days feeling depressed and all kinds of bleh, I seem to have finally gotten out of my funk. Good productive day today and two commissions came in including my fursuit ref.

So now to make a final decision on a fursuit maker and get an order in!

And that art looks adorable, man I wish I could afford any sort of fur suit, maybe I can save up for at least a partial but yeah no clue as to how to go about that.

 

I just realized that I somehow managed to spend $1,000 in under 2 months....alright now it's time to work on a budget and pray that I get this job so I can stop being broke.

 

..... What did you spend it on?

 

A multitude of things consisting of about 45% items I wanted and 65% items that were necessity such as gas and groceries.
I can track about $400 of that to the "want" items so that fault lies on me alone.
But hopefully I'll get this job and will get a paycheck coming back in again.
