You've got it all wrong. Older guys on Grindr are just as bad. People just don't understand how to keep a conversation going in a text format. They don't ask questions, they don't reveal things about themselves, and they all too often let conversation hit a lol and stop trying. It's not young people who are bad, it's people who are bad at connecting think Grindr and OKCupid will be easy. These are people who couldn't connect with a stranger anyways.

And @scalie not all who grind are desperate, I'm not, I just don't like most of the other venues for meeting gay guys and also am only looking for friends to sleep with, so Grindr is a perfect tool to find playmates. Guys who are desperate try a little harder to make Grindr work. And I can assure you, most of them, don't try.

 

That's the thing though! What I'm saying is that the lack of conversation skills online also are the same as IRL.
The fact of the matter is that most people just don't know how to talk to people anymore in any setting.

GOOD NEWS I BELIEVE I HAVE A JOB!!! *celebrates all sorts*

 

So, for the third time, I had to take over some of the stocking and prep for the produce dept at work. Not a big deal, now that I'm getting a better idea where things go. Except.......I was hired as Maintenance (basically a janitor), and they expect me to get my cleaning work done too. I mean yes, I can do some of it, but I am only one person.
Also, I find out today, that the workers in produce are at a pay grade two levels higher than I am. I'm thinking maybe I should go for the full training and take on this department.

 

Grocery as a whole is a lot more engaging. I say go for it.

 

A whole lot less walking too, compared to what I normally do.

 

I want to tear down my house and build a single room home.

I'm being invited out this weekend to a 90s themed party. When I say 90, I mean 90s pop themed. Britany Spears, N'Sync, bands like that.

My attire: Bleach blonde tip, spiked hair. Visor worn backwards and upside down, black shirt, cargo shorts, socks and sandals.

This should be... Interesting. And no, no pictures.

 

So I should maybe call the tattoo parlor in the town where I work and see how much they'd do my fairy tail guild stamp for. I am hoping for something less than $100. And also check some furniture stores to check prices on full and queen pillowtop mattresses.

So I've accepted the job. It's only part time but by god at least it's something!! Getting paid the same as my last job so shouldn't be to big of an issue.
Plus I may have another interview for another part time job so this'll be the first time I've ever had 2 part time jobs.
I'm just happy to finally have a job so I can start saving some money.

Keep having recurring dreams about an old ex of mine..
I no longer have feelings for the guy. He was my first so there will always be that almost intimate memory, but things ended so badly and I feel like my brain is telling me to I guess. Repent? Talk to him and basically say I'm sorry all those years ago.
Im not sure if that would be wise though and it would mean getting in contact again.
I really want to talk to my current partner about this because it's eating at me.
I don't know why this feels so important but it does. Is it bad of me to feel I need to do this ?
