What Is On Your Mind?

I'm trying to think of a way to change "The Tallest" to be something about wallets. I'm not having much luck.

I have a photosensitive allergy, so....

 

Excellent news! I got the full time job!
I'm now gonna be doing warehouse work at $10/hr with overtime and benefits, plus the minimum hours will be 40 hours a week!
I'm so damn excited!!! *dances happily*
Now that I got this job I called to quit the other job and they were so rude. I called and explained that I had gotten the full time job and before I could mention that I could finish out my two weeks the manager I was on the phone with just hung up on me.
How professional. >:/
Oh well their loss, I get paid for the 8 hours of training and I get a full time job so they can suck my ass.
Just got the drug screening done and all I need to do is the background check stuff.

One time I was robbed, the bastard punched me out over $5. Unlucky for him we were right by a construction site and as soon as I could I grabbed a 2x4 and chased him. Unfortunately he was taller and faster than I was but if I had caught him...probably better for my sake I didn't...I would've wrecked his shit.

For me it's the thrill of holding some form of history in my hands.
Not only that but it's not hard to just happen upon rare coins, you don't necessarily have to go out and buy them.
Plus you don't need to "fix up" any coin, the value is lies in the natural state of the coin and you don't have to sell it to try and make a profit off it.

When I see someone who collects cars I personally see someone sending a message of "Hey look at me, I have all this money to buy these cars and I'm basically better than anyone else."

Now I KNOW that not everybody who collects cars act or think that way and everyone is allowed to find pleasure in whatever they collect, this is just my opinion.
I feel that Guy explained things quite well.

 

You do know that not all of us can just go out and buy a fast car right?

@BDCA I want to apologize for my ignorance.

 

I can't drive yet so all cars are a luxury I don't yet enjoy. I bus or walk everywhere and cab when I need it. I'm scraping by and trying to make life comfortable. Just doing my best!

 

This collection talk has rinsed me how much I've neglected my music equipment collection since I've moved out.... Been too long since I busted out this baby.

Really there's not a whole lot of professionalism in the professional world these days when people don't get what they want.

 

True but this was one of the manager of the store so I expected at least a little bit of professionalism.
In fact I'm going to call corporate to make sure that I don't get screwed over because this man-child decided to have a hissy fit because I found a better job.

 

That's unfortunately the type of position and level of responsbility/expectation I was referring to by "the professional world". Freelance can be just as bad, it really just seems to be an overall shift in attitude by people towards others who they either have something over or think they have something over (money, authority, expertise, etc).

Either way I'm going to insure that I don't get fucked over in the end.
