Just got back from Sheffield after meeting some fellow dragon friends there. Hung out at an animal park, then when for food and finally the deadpool movie. Which was totally amazing, true to the comic deadpool characteristics.

But it is so not an age 15 rating. The first terminator was rated 18 and had way less violence in it than deadpool did should have been higher so kids weren't in there.

My friends even brought me a big panda Plushies and a few other things as belated Christmas and birthday presents.

 

Just got home from my doctor. Apparently I have the flu.

Have you ever been to the doctor and gotten good news back?

 

Yes, that I wasn't HIV positive.

 

I just went to walgreens for that news. Found one that does free HIV testing.

 

Planned parenthood does it too.

 

Nothing like an evening with some beer and sorting through a couple hundred vacuum tubes. As soon as I'm done getting them organized by types, I'm gonna throw them into "test tube"...a little amp I made....to see how they sound.

So far I'm really surprised, there's a lot of hidden gems but everyone wants stuff like 12AX7 and the like...hmmm...

Though my blood sugar levels have been dropping, which in my case is good.

 

My mom's been diabetic my whole life. I know some of what you're going through on that front.

 

The problem I'm having with that, is whenever I'm "in range" in terms of my blood sugar levels, I feel very fatigued to the point where I have trouble walking much less standing. I guess that's just because my body is so use to having high levels. We'll see what happens though. My doctor upped my insulin dosage and told me not to fast in the morning anymore.

Progress, but very slow.

 

My mom has been living in the 20 mmol range most of her life now, you're more resilient than you think and will adjust to the effects over time

 

Last day off today before starting my real schedule.
Today is gonna be a prep day, getting all meals ready for my week and hopefully my new shoes will show up today.
But today was a day of obtaining money. I finally got paid from my old job and I received my federal tax return.
It's nice to finally have some money. ^.=.^

 

So I basically just sorta had it confirmed that the woman my partner was boarding a room from has a thing for him. ...
I feel so overloaded with drama bullshit and emotion and I've just shut down now.

 

I can't remember if you're in the US or the UK, but at least over here in "Good Ol' 'Murica", violence has become much more "acceptable" in media common media, to the point that last year's M is today's T if you get me. Swearing seems to vary, in Japan I've noticed that words like shit and damn are normal in media and anime (the original 90s SonicSatAM, for example, you've got Sonic saying shit fairly often in the Japanese version, but never in the US dub). Sex is hit and miss, ranging from more "acceptable" to less so. Alcohol also varies depending on the target crowd and media, the main thing coming to mind being (infamous amongst people who play games originally from Japan) wine getting renamed to juice or medicine (or SODA in Harvest Moon, which is at least a clever substitute), even when the container is very clearly a wine or sake bottle.

The joke I often make is that it's okay to beat each other up and kill people in the US, but booze and sex are evil.

I actually just answered a "Local Number" call asking something about Planned Parenthood and the upcoming election before saying I wasn't interested and hanging up. All I know is they're something to do with abortion, I can't remember if for or against, but that they're controversial and I think conservative republican related. Don't care overall.

So a third party you don't know having a thing for your partner. Is he oblivious to her affections or has indicated (or at least thinks he's hinted) that he's not interested? Try to make sure without causing a scene, because the bit about being overloaded with drama and emotion kinda implies you've confirmed he's cheating on you and I'll be honest. I've got issues with folks becoming territorial over quick assumptions.
