So I went with my parents while they went to do their banking yesterday, looking pretty much the same as in that photo I recently posted. When we'd sat down in a private room with a staff member, she said "I have to ask for the sake of security, this is your daughter here, right?" My mother started saying "yes, he's our son", but apparently the staff member didn't hear her right and carried on referring to me as female.

Although I've been telling myself that there's probably some other reasons she did, I've still been feeling kinda happy about it.

 

I'd be willing to bet she caught the glint of acknowledgement in your eye and figured despite what your mom said, you appreciated the proper gendering.

 

Well she didn't even look at me after we'd sat down, which was before she started talking. She also sort of talked over what my mother was saying, which was why I don't think she heard anything after "yes".

 

I'm wondering if I'm a bad person for falling asleep watching the X-files revival episodes.

 

They're not THAT good but they have their charm up until the end at least

 

I haven't seen the last episode yet, but I only really liked one episode of what I saw.

 

Immune system seems to be kicking in, and getting things cleared up quickly.

I'm no longer burning up when wrapped in a blanket, or shivering when not. No more head pressure, coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, or runny nose. The only thing I have is a sore throat that makes it hard to talk.

oh its not like that at all ! I trust my partner completely and trust he's not cheating. He can't actually stand the woman.
But what's got me all muddled is she basically begged him to move in to her house with her and her friend before he met me. Then he did meet me and said he's got a gf and if she's okay with me being over a lot and she still said yes.
But she was horrible to me. And a total cow to him as well.
But its all piecing together in my mind and now I know why I was so damn uneasy being around her all that time.

My partner won't stop talking about it though and he only told me a few other details of his history and even though it's clear he's chosen me, it still makes me almost sick he was living with someone who potentially could have tried something or slowly destroyed our relationship (because I was beginning to get very tense not wanting to be there)

 

It has the same level of quality of the majority of the series, which is to say, slightly above mediocre. The best episodes are unbelievable though. Every top 10 list is capped by the same episode.

 

Currently? My thoughts. I am sad and lonely and just want to cuddle with someone. Also, I want to play with my friend's acoustic guitar, he has a nice one. He let me mess with it last week..oh, and another thing that's on my mind - I have a crush on said friend and I think that he likes me too but I'm not sure if he does or not.

I'm just a little bit sad..........
It's real nice out this morning, about 70F, so I dug out my favorite "Dungaree" shorts to wear while doing the laundry.
I guess I have lost too much weight, as even with a belt they barely stay on any more. The waist size must be nearly 6 inches too big, so I guess Mo gets to have them now.
I need to find another pair to replace them.

So, does anyone else have blackout curtains? If so, how long did it take you to adjust? The first couple of days, I slept to about noon.

 

So I don't get why guys have to tell people they need thicker skin when it comes to confrontations. Sure I get that ypu should hide aspects of yourself from the general public but there's a certain thing I do when I get upset or frustrated that to some would be a sign of weakness. But no matter what I've done I still continue to have a hard time preventing this reaction. I've accepted it and have learned to not let it be a liability. But some people continue to point it out and sometimes it does bother me.

I don't know how I could possibly continue to keep explaining this.
