What Is On Your Mind?

Even a torrential downpour is soothing to me. Thunderstorms are just plain relaxing as well. But maybe I'm just wired completely different than everyone else.

 

I want a Toyota Supra RZ so badly, but the recent price hikes thanks to Paul Walker's death and scumfuck dealers has made that an unattainable goal.

 

I'd say let her make her choice, no matter what happens to you it's not really fair to leave her in the dark, right now she's operating under the assumption of total or near total disclosure and that means you have some responsibility to honour that.

I post on Facebook about how Americans are rapidly googling "How to move to Canada," one friend says "We don't want em!" to which I reply "I dunno I want SOME of them!" Which is then immediately liked by the two american girls I've fallen in love with during the course of my life.

 

Well that's not very nice.
If Canada was threatened by someone like Trump, I would be happy to take them.

 

I was considering Canada at one point in my life as a potential place to move to. But... sad reality is that I'd never be able to move there. The ticket itself would take my 3 full monthly paychecks, not to say about the money needed for surviving the first month or two... Probably I won't be able to move anywhere other than another city anyways with my current job. This kind of sucks

 

Luckily, I live like 20 min away from the border, and I have a passport, as well as someone to stay with until I am able to get a stable income. n.n

 

Canadians generally have a very low opinion of the average American. We just rarely say it to anyone's face

 

So I'm kinda really pissed off at YouTube right now.
They banned one of my favorite Youtubers for reasons that I cannot even explain and I'm personally very upset because no sooner did he post a video about how fucked up YouTube is with their content rules and regulations that his channel was taken down despite the fact that he didn't do anything to break those rules.
This is absolutely ridiculous.
I've noticed that a lot of Youtubers have been ranting about how ass-backwards Youtube's copyright rules and content control and I honestly have to agree with all of their opinions.
Seeing all these people complain about YouTube has kinda put me off of potentially wanting to become a content creator in the future (this was a plan I actually seriously thinking about) but now I'm not so sure anymore...

Eh, rant over, I'm now in a slightly steamed mood and don't have the energy to rant anymore.

 

Which Youtuber was it if you don't mind me asking.
Nostalgia Critic did a big rant on it and so did angry joe but as far as I know they're both still running.

 

What do you know, just like me and pointing out the BS behind the scenes on FA. Businesses pulling crap don't like being exposed (EVEN if half of everyone already knows, they still want it to be "a secret"), to the point that some like FA/IMVU will even add a ToS rule against "Calling out" just to have a reason to ban you for breaking the ToS.

I've been seeing a few things about it, as well as a video that I didn't watch called "TheFineBros Incident And ____"....yes I forgot the entire title, but it was related. My guess is that it was TheFineBros. But, I would think that there'd be a risk in both banning a highly popular channel for calling Youtube out just as well as leaving it there for folks to see; leaving it there leaves them to sway more public opinion against Youtube, but banning it risks severe backlash from the users over it's popularity (doubly so if it also happens to generate a good amount of ad based revenue for Google). If it was just some nobody, they'd sweep it under the rug easily with a ban or video deletion and none would be the wiser.

For example, Danza, who I barely know anything about other than being one of the top follower artists on FA (?) was able to call them out with no damage because he presumably attracts a heavy volume of traffic to the site.

 

I just hear more and more how shitty Youtube is that most of my channels are following the issue at hand. Keyroi did a rap about it all about being afraid of getting targeted, I Hate Everything is getting targeted for several things, it just doesn't look like it's a issue that's going to pass over. I wish Youtube would pay attention to the people who are within the community and listen to the issues at hand. Even the false copyright claims are getting way out of hand too. Youtube get yer heads together and sort these issues out.

The channel in particular is called Lost Pause, he's an anime channel and I've watched quite a few of his series and vids and from what I've seen he did absolutely nothing to break any sort of rules.
Plus a lot of the channels I'm subscribed too aren't new channels, they're quite established with at least 500K+ subscribers and they're all sick of it because it not only makes their job all the more difficult, it also puts potential content creators (such as myself) off from joining YouTube.

And @Rassandra Gendal I agree with you on the FA deal, it's amazing how power-hungry companies can be when they become a big success.
