What Is On Your Mind?

I've been wanting to move out of this house house. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice place, and the rent is cheap. But dealing with the old woman we live with can be a pain in the ass. She is set in her ways and insists on having 'her rooms' to be just so. We are allowed to use the kitchen and living room, but we can't have our things out in the open while they are not being used (even if our things are much better, both in utility and aesthetics).

Damn, I really miss the solitude of my old house..............

On a high note, I'm about to get my biggest paycheck yet from my current employer. It includes the highest quarterly bonus we can qualify for! $$$$$$$

Been updating my FA account with folders to organize my art a bit.

 

A coworker today asked why I always wear my R8 hat to work. So I took it off, releasing hair which immediately got blown in my face due to the wind. Coworker then asked why I don't just get it cutshort.

Told him the answer to that can get me sent to HR.

 

Not entirely sure, but I think I get it. Such a shame guys have to go to that length if I'm on the money.

On a similar note, I considered being a butt on here today, just something short and silly. I decided against it due to possible backlash over the nature of misunderstandings and the snowball effect.

Everyone I work with, male and female, tell jokes all the time. No one gets offended or angry as long as no one interferes with our work. But I've run into some people who don't joke at all and who would absolutely report me for sexual harassment if I told them why I wear a hat and keep my hair the length it is.

Well, not if you told them that "a woman I was once/am currently in a relationship with liked/likes it that way", or something of the sort. I don't know what the term would be for FALSELY reporting someone "for sexual harassment" is, but if you have eye witnesses that back you that would very quickly backfire on the person giving you guff....

Cheekbone, so the biggest danger is infection. Clean it up and you should be fine. As for the idiot who swung that at you....

Sounds like a story outta certain neighborhoods in Houston, except there's actually folks who give a fuck about their community and are trying to help the youth avoid having their life turned into years of hell followed by an early end.

 

There are 700 people calling in every couple seconds because all of a set of our HD cable boxes across Canada are currently offline. Luckily I just made a sale on one of those boxes so yay commissions!
