When I am Prime Minister of Canada, I will build a wall on our Southern border. Lots of nice decent birds in the US, the Cardinals are lovely as are the Western Bluebirds. But thats not who they send up here, they send pretatory violent felons. Thats right the bald eagle is the perfect symbol of a nation out to steal our salmon and get our goose. I'll get the US to pay for the wall by telling them its to protect them from single payer health insurance.

 

Got a short 8 hour overtime day today and to be honest I don't like it.
Yes it's a shorter day than normal but that means that I end up getting the shittiest equipment as well as limited break time.
Oh well, it's extra money so I really can't complain.

 

I doubt most people would remember this.

Way back when, when this forum first started, I had come up with the idea of a BD lottery. Players would put in a certain amount and get their tickets. After a certain period of time, the total amount collected would determine what the prize was. Number would be drawn and the winner would receive the prize. They could either accept and just pay shipping, or they could donate the pot to have an even bigger prize for the next drawing. That's the concept anyway.

Not sure what reminded me of it.

 

I remember, but we figured we wouldn't be able to get anyone to agree on a money holder.

 

I think it was more along the lines of we couldn't figure out a way for those participating to track where the funds go, and like you said, who would keep track of them.

If there's one thing that annoys me the most, its when things don't go when they're scheduled.

Like now for instance. I'm suppose to be in a staff meeting for a charity I volunteer for, yet right now I'm sitting in the meeting hall watching the cast rehearse, running close to half an hour longer than they're suppose to, which obviously makes everything after this run late. I use to enjoy going to these cast rehearsals, even though I was never part of it, but once they started taking up more time and not following their schedule, its really, really started to annoy me.

Where do I audition?

 

Well, I just got through my first week of summer class. About to get back to the grindstone today since I go back tomorrow for week 2. Got a test this upcoming Wednesday as well as an art project due the same week and another next week on Monday I want to say. Lowest grade I've gotten is an 80 so far. Still trying to get a job too.

 

Four more days and I'm Texas-bound. It's surreal. I've never done any of this before. Never been in a LDR. First time travelling alone (only flown once before for a family trip to FL when I was 10). First time going any farther west than DC. Been up and down the east coast, but that's it. There's also the relationship itself. How it started, how good it is so far, how connected we are. It's so far the best relationship I've been in, despite the distance. And it really is true what they say about the little things. I had acquired everything I thought I needed for the trip, but recently read something about luggage tags being recommended. I was gonna just go without because what money I have left until next payday has to go to my baggage fees, my ride to the airport, and food. But I got a surprise package from @Amberina just a bit ago containing...you guessed it, luggage tags. Best girlfriend ever, and I told her so.

 

Well, unfortunately more history was made very early this morning. Everyone I know that was involved is fine.

Read about that earlier today. I'm glad your people are OK. Also glad officers in some states know how to do their job. I don't believe death is punishment or even true justice, but I'm glad there's one less person like him on this planet.

 

I'm just waiting to find out that someone I know or have heard of was in there...
