Nope. Most of it's irrelevant crap, would be better called "The Gossip Network". If I want to know what's going on, I go watch Lee Camp.

 

Uh...maybe if you're watching Fox News (cause we all know they're the greatest at provide "accurate" news), but I'd think mass shootings, innocent murder, exposing that one of the presidential candidates is an absolute psychopath, and other talking points that directly effect us all are far from "irrelevant crap".

 

Fox News, CNN....I don't know of a single mainstream news provider that doesn't focus on whatever will stir up the most sensation. If said presidential candidate is Trump, sure, everyone with their head on even somewhat straight knows that, and it's just gossip. Mass shootings, sure, gotta rile up the American people against Islam because they're all evil amirite? None of them want to focus on some of the real issues at hand, which are the reason a lot of this other stuff happens. Why? Because then they'd lose their "financial backing".

 

Yeah, not a good time to be in Orlando it seems.

But the amazing amount of support and solidarity I've seen over the past couple days for the nightclub terror attack victims and their families, Christina Grimmie (she was the third finalist from what I remember), and now the toddler being dragged away from the alligator, is just that. Amazing. Politics aside, it's good to see so many people come together. It's just a shame it takes tragedies like this.

 

Seems to be human nature when large numbers are involved. Bicker, bicker, I'm not getting my way, you offended me, OH SHIT SOMEONE'S ATTACKING EVERYONE STAND YOUR GROUND!!

 

And then finger pointing. Or fake concern.

I kid you not, less than a day after the shooting, people were already politicizing the cause, instead of helping those affected by it.

 

I noticed a few folks around here calling social media out on that. Not surprised really. "50 people died to a crazy man, therefore it's in everyone's best interest that you do what I want!!"

I remember AW: Days of Ruin had the greedy coward mayor of survivortown pull that. Even when you saved his ass, he used the fact that you had the weaponry and military experience to wipe the raiders attacking his town as "reason" that you need to GTFO.

 

I'm like all sorts of happy right now cause I finally upgraded my phone.
Yes I went ahead and bit the bullet and upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I'm loving everything about it!

 

Nice! I just did a minor upgrade on my phone. Only added a MicroSD card, but it helps the phone so much.

 

Absolutely, I switched out my MicroSD from my old phone to this one and it's now lightning fast.

 

Relationship goals: Being able to play video games for hours at a time with your significant other.

Checked out Facebook. So my ten year reunion is Saturday. Fuck that. I was the class freak before. Now I'm one of six single childless people left in my graduation class. Found that my high school best friend. Who I have not seen or heard in 8 years, did his goal.

He is now doing the job he said he would in high school, married and had their first kid last month.

Well fuck me, looks like I wasted my life.

 

I don't like to think of that for any reunions. I think that those people who did well or good in school wI'll achieve the goals they want in due time. I mean I said I would move out of my parents after college, and still plan to do that. I'm just doing it later than I thought. And transferring later than I thought, but not getting my associates like I wanted.

 

You guuuys! Ghost BC (or just Ghost, whichever) is coming to Cleveland in September!!! I am so going

 

So I did something that I rarely do and posted a huge rant on Facebook.
Normally I avoid Facebook like the plague but lately I've been getting used to going on there and from what I've heard in the news lately I needed to rant.
