I just use tumblr to keep up with pretty things, cute stuff and fandom junk (Adventure Time, etc)
Too many folks on there are swooping around as self appointed Social Policeman.
Doesn't matter how much you try to argue or reason with them, they are right and you are wrong. In fact, its no different than those overzealous religious types they so actively fight against; they try to educate you with "literature" (aka dozens of links to "reputable sources") and when you don't agree with them 100% you're automatically every kind of -ist, ignorant, small minded, etc

 

Huh. My daughter's on Tumblr. There may be a lot of ignorance, but her little circle of friends gives me hope they'll figure it all out.

 

Pretty much. I mean, don't get me wrong, race obviously played a role in this tragic, unjustified event, but it's not as big of a factor as people on Tumblr would make it seem. He strong armed a Quik Trip type store, then walked in the middle of the street and impeded traffic afterwards, a cop who had no idea of the robbery stopped him to figure out why he was in the middle of the road, Brown probably thought the cop was stopping him for the robbery and started a confrontation that the cop overreacted to and ended up killing him for. It's not a black and white issue just like nothing is ever black and white, but try to tell that to anyone and you'll get slammed with being an oppressor or trying to make the event about yourself, etc. etc. Then there's the generalization of white people going around, which just baffles me because it's apparently not racist (dictionary definition says otherwise, but because it's not on par with what black communities and the like have had and continue to have to deal with, that doesn't matter) and is trying to fight ignorance with more ignorance.

I just...can't.

Its like I have so many offers for my Chance and the person I had held it for hasnt answered. So now I'm going through and contacting those that were willing to pay.

 

I finally had to brake down and buy a new camera. Ever since I dropped my old camera, TWICE, it has been getting worse and worse. now I can hardly get it to read on my laptop and download.
It's nice that this new one comes with a remote!
However it does not have an LCD screen.

Yes, it comes with a clear case that is water resistant. Hopefully it's not too cheap, under $100, but most reviews are pretty good.
I couldn't afford a nice $400 GoPro, but this seems like an economical alternative, for now.

Bummed out that I can't watch the Colts game because the CBS station that covers the state isn't available here because he have our own local CBS station. For some reason the local station isn't playing the game.

I went to MTG drafting. Did terrible. I used to be decent at drafting, I dunno what happened.
Also my back is really fucking with me. My lumbar area is just sore as crud.

I had a Silent Arbiter on my last draft in Conspiracy. Most games finished within 10 minutes. I dragged ours out for over a half hour. I might not have won the game, but I won the moral victory of lockdown.

 

I do this in yu-gi-oh and have gotten a few 'rage quit' wins in tournies because of it

 

Just got done playing a couple hours of AAPG, reckoning what ill do next.
