That's one of my main worries. We may need a single person who has access to the account. I'd volunteer, but I'm not the most popular of people.

Also, does Bad Dragon accept PayPal?

I believe so. And there are a couple users here who I'd trust with that kind of money.

 

Trustworthy or not, I wouldn't like the idea of a single person having access to everyone's money. Maybe we could make a mutual account that can track who makes transactions using it? At least deposits.

 

That's the thing though, if the account is mutual, whos email does it get attached to? whats to stop someone from logging in and changing the password to lock everyone out while they raid the cookie jar?

I doubt someone would stoop to that level, but there's always that possibility. I just don't like that.

 

That would be interesting. An account that requires multiple passwords from users to authorize payments/transfers. I wouldn't know what company provides that though.

We need to find someone on here is ridiculously wealthy so the money has no temptation. I can see someone needing their rent really bad, and taking it out of desperation.

The only thing I can really think of is having a single account owner who keeps track of the money.

I'd volunteer, post daily updates including screen shots of every transaction. At least until we can find something more secure.

 

I know that Kranix had an issue back when he played wow of someone locking everyone out of the shared inventory and stealing it... so that sort of thing is a real possibility.

And BD accepts PayPal. That's how I pay.

 

That sucks Kath. We can't have that happening, not even once. It would just ruin the fun.

Lets give this idea a couple days so everyone interested can look for ways that we may be able to do this. We'll all come together, lets say, over the weekend and share ideas.

 

Definitely an interesting idea. I wouldn't mind hearing more about it if it would be organized enough that it'd be foolproof.

I did come up with a few ideas, though I hope my talent is up to the task.

There's still that Christmas in July idea a few members and I discuss on the old forums. Its not July anymore, and the holidays are approaching. Maybe we can think of something for Halloween.
