it's a piece of scrap sheet steel I found on the ground at the school's studio and since I liked the shape I decided to mess with it and this is what I got. all the shaping and hammering was done cold and then it was heated to normalize the stress and grain structure and then I used some gilders paste on the inside to give it some contrast

I'm going to share an assignment I had to do for my class a week and a half ago. It was entered into a game design challenge. (Btw, the theme of the challenge was to design a game that revolved around interior design as its main mode of gameplay).
The idea is to design the interior for a haunted house, where the player's goal is to decorate the house in such a way as to attain levels, attract guests, and gain points in order to make their haunted house the best.
    • Building mode would be in a top-down camera view, with the objects and interior partially 2D and partially 3D visually. The store would only be available during this mode of the game. Objects offered in the store would include various decorations, building layouts and design (interior and exterior), and pre-made rooms that are empty or already have a few objects in them. Advertisements that would bring more guests to the player's haunted house would also be available for purchase in the store. Higher level items that give the most in-game advantage would be locked until certain levels or point totals are reached. Some rare objects would also be able to be found in-game, with the drop percentage increasing by a marginal percentage they higher a player's level is.
    • After building the room to the player's satisfaction, the option to "playback" the room becomes available. The building mode (along with the store) would close and would either remain in top-down view or go into a free camera mode, where the player could maneuver the camera to watch certain areas of the house. Points and in-game currency would be earned during this "playback" mode, as the guests react to the objects and difficulty of the house.
    • Points and cash earned in "playback" mode would be able to be used in the store to purchase new decorations, layouts, or advertisements to increase the quality of the player's haunted house. There are two types of points that can be earned: Fear points and popularity points. Fear points are earned by decorations bought in the store or found in the game as well as difficulty for guests to get out of the house, and popularity points are earned off a portion of total fear points as well as the total number of guests who visit the haunted house.
    • Experience points would not be used to earn levels; instead, levels are determined by a combination of popularity and fear points earned by the player, with popularity points being the biggest impact on level gain.
    • Items or rooms a player no longer wants or needs can be removed by one of three ways: demolishing, selling, or crafting. Demolishing would take away all of the points earned by the object, selling would give the player cash and take half of the earned points away, and crafting helps make high quality items with no negative impact on already earned points. Crafting is only available at higher player levels. Lost points do not affect the player's level.

This is some of the stuff I have been doing this term, and I love every moment! Maybe I'll share my current assignment once I'm done typing my description.

Good lord, I didn't even realize I had a business oppertunity sitting in my inbox over on FurrAffinity until I logged in.

Of course I replied with an apology about my super late response and to ask if it was still possible to submit designs and get a commission for it! Now I've got a reason to be more active on the site.

I know its a bit early, but I want to wish everyone who's celebrating a happy holiday and hope that everyone (despite recent circumstances) has a wonderful day as we slowly reach the end of this terribly shitty year.

My year actually hasn't been too terrible overall. The last few months have definitely been amazing. Hopefully things continue on this trend for me and others. And if things aren't so great, I hope the new year brings with it a fresh start and new opportunities for joy and fulfilment.

Thanks! Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
I don't exactly celebrate it... I'll eat the dinner and pass out. Not going to watch Football nor buy into the fake history of Thanksgiving. I wonder how Native Americans actually look upon this. Lesson: Don't steal peoples corn.
Anyway... I don't actually "celebrate" in the traditional sense of many holidays. I'll participate, but they don't hold signifigance of what the day is about. But than again, you have remember what those days originally were.

Damn, I'm cynical about everything today.

I tend to look at it as simply a harvest celebration, and it was a good time to devour any food that would not keep through the winter.
The day itself, this year, I had to work. We plan to make a special dinner on Monday. Something like chicken breast, stuffed with bacon wrapped asparagus, then a hollandaise sauce to finish.
at least that's the plan so far..........

Work is killing me...I've been on my feet for nearly 40 hours this week and there's no end in sight...on top of that my apartments website seems to be down so I can't pay rent right now and I don't know when I'll have time to ask them what the fuck is going on.

Turns out that my apartment complex had changed management and the new management failed to provide me with their new info. Thankfully I had yesterday off and got to pay my rent and I now know that I no longer have to pay online and can use hard checks now.
