Went to look at the newest page of a yaoi comic I follow, and it was the first time you were seeing one of the characters' house, and it was very pink and frilly and girly. And basically he's married and his wife is pregnant but he doesn't love her, he loves a different character. And so it's a yaoi comic, all the readers are on the dude's side, and all the comics are just full of how the character, Yvette, is just a child and needs to grow up and no wonder Atros doesn't like her. And it makes me sad because they're basing that on teddy bears and a pink decor, and really it could be much worse, maybe she just likes teddy bears? It made me feel bad because I have lots of stuffed animals and I like to color and have childlike innocence from time to time (ETA: okay a lot), but I'm still an adult. And I feel like even if Yvette was more like me (ETA: And honestly we don't know that she isn't like me, she knows she's being cheated on, we haven't exactly seen her at her best), people would still hate on her, and it makes me feel bad about myself.
tl,dr: I'm oversensitive.

 

I just found a couple pictures of the emerald green and you're right, that definitely looks to be a match! Hmm. I suppose maybe I'll reopen the ticket and just ask for citrus orange and emerald green done as a split fade in metallic. :3 See what they think of that.

Finally finished that banner and I'm not disgusted with the result. That's odd. Still thinking I should've work harder but... seriously I just can't xDDD This is all my hands are capable of.

Did you know that at Mammoth Mountain, in central California, you can buy lift tickets to the top of the ski resort in the summer and use the entire mountain over and over for mountain biking? I think there are 5 main trails with various crossovers. One of them puts you on a down hill road where you can easily hit 30+ MPH. You can even ride down to the main village on your bike, Grab a Starbucks and the resort bus will ship you and your bike back up to the Gondola.

 

I feel like the only person in this family to improvise the way I do.

"Okay we have some green beans...I guess I'll pan-fry them in some butter, season it liberally with salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne and tumeric and see what happens."

Huh. Happens to be a very well-rounded food.

 

Firehouse Sub is freakin delicious, I had their brisket cheddar sub today with a pickle and nearly died from the tastiness

 

I have learned a lesson. Don't go to a conveyor belt sushi place in the last hour. They don't want to put out fresh food, knowing that it might go to waste.

 

Mome Asian cuisine sounds yum. Maybe tomorrow for lunch.

 

It's just stored at my parent's house for the time being. I'll be getting back at the end of the month, but those pictures reminded me how much I missed just riding off for hours with nothing but my thoughts and a sense of adventure to discover whatever I could. Biking was one of my escapes as a child and now that I'm older, I can appreciate the silence and alone time even more.

 

Maybe it's the 2 hours of sleep I've been running on all day but I'm going to bed content for the first time in a while. Little brother got prescribed antidepressants and sleeping pills which should definitely help a lot, house situation (I don't think I ever went into detail but the biggest issue is that my grandfather is a little bit of a hoarder, almost every wall in this house when we got down here was covered in paintings and he has at least 50 clocks on high up shelving, as well as 13 cats,) has been talked about with everybody and a plan has been made to improve it as fast as possible, and I feel like I got through to my crush a bit as the past three hours has been filled with some ridiculously heavy flirting and "I miss you" implications. I really need to go the fuck to sleep though, so night everyone.

 

Just got done practicing staff sword and falling today. So relaxed.
