I really don't want to cause even more storm but stallionmaster called as a witness of his trustworthiness a user called “Lex“
Interestingly Lex is also called out as a buyer of Novalover on her info page and as a measurement of her reputation.
    Just saying.

Oh boy this is getting really complicated - do you know if there have been any problems with Lex him/herself?

Make that four. I sold to NovaLover, with tracking (thankgod). I have been in the buying/selling game (ebay/poshmark/direct sale) for awhile, so I take pictures and keep receipts, and make sure I have tracking and insurance. The day it was delivered, NovaLover dmed me and claimed it wasn't. I made sure to have a screen shot of the delivery acceptance and tracking number uploaded to paypal. I told NovaLover the package was insured and to contact USPS to file a claim.

Whether the package loss was real or not real doesn't matter to me, as I would have handled the situation in the same way. But since there is a pattern of behavior and history, I definitely see red flags.

I really hate to be one of the people to call someone out, but fwiw, it is important to cover your ass when dealing with online sales.

I had a similar case even though I forgot who was the buyer. A package sitting at the post office was retrieved and therefore marked as delivered on the tracking but the buyer told me it wasn't them and that someone else probably got the "absent" slip and went to retrieve it themselves. Unfortunately there is no definite way to know wether someone is being honest or trying to bullshit you.

I had a package that got delivered to the wrong address.

If the post office is contacted and you insist you didn't receive it, the supervisor is supposed to contact the carrier to try and pinpoint where the package WAS delivered.

If it was a package that needed a signature, they save the signatures (which include handwriting the address) and if it's found out the carrier took a BS or wrong address/signature, you can get get the insurance payout if the package isnt retrieved hmm.

So basically, id say a situation like that is out of your hands and is up to the buyer and the post to work out

Yikes, i saw a thread on the selling forums and thought i'd look up stallionmaster's name to see what the drama is, and my name is right in the middle of it. Hi, i'm Lex, i purchased from both Nova and Stallionmaster (i can show my outgoing paypal payments if you want proof,) and (thank god) i recieved both of my items, a small Clayton and a Medium Echo.
I paid extra to have tracking numbers included, though; Nova took a while to ship the item out and Stallionmaster sent his pretty quick. The only weird part of either interaction was that stallionmaster continued to send me messages for weeks after purchasing the toy to ask me if i liked it; which i didn't respond to and i just ignored.
I'll make a note to not buy from these people again, thanks to you guys, but i just wanted to clarify that i just made an account to buy dildos and i have absolutely no interest in having my name twisted up with two accused scammers. If i have to show proof of any kind to show i'm not involved with them, that's fine. I'd just like to buy and sell dildos in peace haha

It's impossible to sign for someone else's package at the Post Office. They will not release the package to someone who the package isn't addressed to. The only exception is if the 3rd party brings the ID of the addressee to the post office, as a proof of permission for pickup.

They do it at my local branch all the time. Never been aaked for ID or to sign anything. Postal workers in most of the country couldn't find a fuck to give with a map and a magnifying glass

Same issue here. I live in Tasmania. A couple years back, a friend who lives in the same state, but 4 hours away, sent me a little box of stuff. Several days later and tracking shows the item has been *given* to someone at a post office 2.5 hours from where I live. So, someone up the coast got my parcel and Aus post couldn't find a fuck to give about it. If anyone had to sign for it, ID wasn't checked because *no one* in this country has my name. Positive. It was also no where near my suburb.

Depending on where one is located, packages can indeed be just tossed to whomever without so much as an ID check.

They have a whole reporting category for sex toys. They slip through time to time but all it takes is one report

Tell that to my post office, who accepted a scribble for both the name and address and left my 'sign-for' package at the wrong address. :')
Of course, they aren't SUPPOSED to do it, and the supervisor made that mail carrier go out and try and locate the package.
