Also what do you define as ages? As I can recall from my education, throughout the last century several developed countries have fallen to tyranny and totalitarianism. Lets see...
Germany... Russia (which seems to be going that way again)... Croatia... Spain... I could go on. In fact, you can add up all the civilian on civilian murders in the past 100 years and you will come no where close to the number of people murdered by their own government! So no bud, it has not been ages.

If you're really concerned about an invasion force assaulting american shores in your lifetime your problem is more likely a fantasy that america is under threat from anyone you can defeat with a bunch of armed rednecks.

Its not an invasion force anyone is worried about, its a government that becomes emboldened enough and corrupt enough to take away our freedom of speech, press, religion, interstate travel, and all manner of life they disagree with. The second amendment was put in place as a safeguard to protect everything else in the bill of rights. And if you think everyone who understands that is a redneck, maybe it's not the rednecks who school is failing.
Anyone who trusts our government needs only dig a little deeper to see what they are already capable of. Site project MK Ultra, the Contras, project paperclip, the unconstitutional wiretapping by the NSA, you seriously expect a person of sound mind and judgement to trust these scoundrels? No thanks.

As an owner of a AI L115A3 .338 Lapua rifle here in the UK I had to jump through some massive hoops to get hold of it that took several months. Also subject to relatively frequent inspections to make sure I keep it safe and secure, as well as a bunch of other conditions attached that if I break any of them, it would be taken off me.

Frankly, I dont agree with disarmament of the US, but there needs to be considerably stricter restrictions on buying them and keeping track of those who do.

Nice! All I have right now is my trusty mossberg 500 12ga which I normally keep in pistol grip short barrel config loaded with Turkey shoot for home defence, but I've got a stock and field barrel for shooting skeet and trap. I'm glad all I have to do if I want a certain gun is go to the store and buy it.

These mass shootings are like project MK-Ultra. They are all orchestrated by the government so as to institute more globalist policies.

Wait, did you just say that all mass shootings are set up by the government...on purpose? In order to further a political agenda? Do you think the victims were also willing? Or are they mere pawns in a game?
o_O That's pretty disrespectful, my dude. This isn't some fun "lizard-people run our country" conspiracy theory. These are real people, and the policies have real consequences.

Yes I did say that. 9/11 was set up by the globalists in order to institute the patriot act of 2001 which allows big brother to spy on literally any web traffic they so desire to watch. Governments don't care about the people only the corporations.

Wow, Zach I think you took to much Super Male Vitality and the lead in it is getting to your head. I thought this was gonna be a thread about guns and not a thread about conspiracy theories.

America has a 2nd Amendment right because people with guns fought off a Tyrannical govt that also had guns, thats why we still have them. Because the threat from govt is still there. Additional reasons like defending yourself from wild animals, human predators/criminals, and other stuff is just additional reasons that are good reasons to keep it around.

One troubling thing I have always felt about anti-gun agendas is that its often the weakest people who are the most at risk and suffer from gun bans and such. Few women I see around could probably overpower even myself, and Im not some strong big guy, so if I wanted to rape a woman realistically whats physically stopping me. A kick to the balls is not nearly as effective as a 115 JHP 9mm to the chest cavity. I think every woman who is competent, smart, and emotionally stable should conceal carry a gun on their person all the time if they can.

People often cite Australia saying "Look no gun crimes hardly and no suicides" ignoring the fact every gun was forcibly confiscated and only a few highly monitored gun owners even exist today. No guns=no gun suicides, but banning guns because some people don't have self control or help from their families isn't fair to the rest of the population who are not going to just find another way to kill themselves. Plenty of countries with regulated guns or no guns have higher suicide rates than the USA. Its a poor argument at best.
