yet another shit OS that was rushed to market way before it was ready with little actual testing or bug fixing and an even more annoying focus on touch screen use and annoying apps?

 

Is it wrong that I would rather sit back and see how it works before upgrading?
Especially with my bad experience of going from Win8 to Win8.1. Nothing worked right when I did that, had to zero my laptop and start over with 8.

 

still not updating to 8.1. a popup thing comes up every night and interrupts what I'm doing to try to get me to update but I know better

also, why can't I post pics? there's just a pic url link thing

 

Did you use the 'Upload a File' tab?
Should work similar to BD's upload, but you have a choice to use a thumbnail or full pic

I have 7 on all my PC's. 8 on a tablet because that's what its for.

I didn't know about 9, seems like 8 didn't last long.

 

Well if the Xbox One was any indication...they'll learn from doing something stupid, but only after the fact.

Well, I threw everything I could at it, and the only game to slow it down was Dark Souls PTD Ed...and I'm only halfway certain it's due to poor optimization. This PC ain't bad, ain't bad at all.

Well I put it through its paces, now it's time for me to hit the hay and not play it tomorrow due to tabletop gaming. Huzzah pathfinder!

 

Apparently Florida lifted it's same sex marriage ban on Thursday.

I guess I've been paying too much attention in the middle East to notice. But, y'know, woo for that.

 

I heard that with windows 9 they were doing "A single OS for all devices" which is obviously horrible, because that includes phones, PC, tablet, and even any possible future XBox'es

Of course it's probably just a dumb rumor. NOBODY is that stupid.

Geez. I hope that's not true. That's what I think is so stupid about Windows 8.

 

I'll stick with Windows 7 as long as I can. We have another computer that has 8. It isn't bad but I prefer 7.

 

Yep, I have 7 on everything atm, except my phone of course. That's Android.

I think I need a new tablet. Mine's older and it's slow compared to what's on the market now. I wonder if I should just ask for one for my birthday, but that's a bit of a ways off. The Samsung Galaxy 8.4 looks nice. Not quite as huge as the 10.1, but larger than the smaller one they have. I'm going to probably need a tablet for work though, so maybe I can't wait until November.

 

I was debating on a tablet myself but I have no use for one. I do need a new phone. Tight now I use ZTE Imperial and lately it's been freezing up on me and randomly resetting again.
