I'll stick with Win 7 for as long as humanly possible, unless MS decides to be smart and go back to making PC/Laptop OS's for PC/Laptop instead of a tablet OS for PC/Laptop. After XB180 though, I'm not holding my breath.

Losing a good hat always sucks... I swear I tore my house apart twice looking for my good Phish hat until I finally accepted it was gone.

I have more issues with windows 7 then I ever had with Vista.
Again, the only issue I had with Vista was the crappy storage space, and I needed a lot for all my art files.

 

Basically if all you're using Vista for is word processing and Internet browsing, it won't be an issue for you. But I believe the main issue with Vista was how it prioritized programs and heavy multi-tasking. Basically it started chugging and struggling before other systems would. It especially messed with heavy gamers.

 

And it had overprotective UAC, that has been significantly toned down in Win 7. Heck, for word processing and Internet browsing even an Win XP (which was by far the best system I've used, being followed by Win 7) would suffice.

Vista has huge multithreading issues, which isn't that big of a deal if all you're doing is web browsing and things like that, but I'm a heavy Photoshop user as well as a heavy gamer and shit multithreading means less performance which makes doing the shit I want to do more of a hassle.

I dont even remember but I've had it for awhile. It did that when I first got it too. I wish I could afford a new phone now or that one of the lines were eligible for an upgrade....
