    From what I know, that goes with any art program when you export it as a .png or .jpeg . There could be other file formats out there capable of storing the different layers, perhaps as several images in the file, and then keeping track of them with embedded tags like what .mp3 uses to store artist information.

    But to my knowledge, layers and other "Pre-Export" parts only save in the programs project file, and PS, SAI, and Gimp each have their own that only they can read (legal reasons).

    yep. i think .tiff will do it right, and i believe that's also losseless. i normally don't save in .tiff (mostly psd and png) so im not sure. though if you can toss out a map we can test it :3

    That is rather worrying. What other apps does your computer use the webcam for? Also check for malware or viruses that might be hijacking your cam. Darn things can be turned on at any time you know.

    Skype is the only one that had access to my webcam. I downloaded Many am after recommendation to do so; it reads that my webcam is in use when using Process Explorer shows nothing with Skype off, or even running.
