Hi! Tiffanbrill, it depends on where I'm shipping to. I just checked the cost of shipping to Germany as a ballpark and it would be an additional $15 to ship there. Additionally, I don't think I would be able to provide tracking. Let me know what you think!

If I remember correctly UPS also have an option with tracking. Can't remember it was years ago but yeah I would be interested

 

I checked with UPS and their shipping was absurdly expensive to ship to Europe, maybe I missed something though! The cost I gave was with USPS, but if you are aware of a better shipping service I'll use them instead.

DHL has good prices for shipping to Europe, they might not be available in every US location though (I'm not sure). They will also pick up your package. You pay in advance online, if I recall. The website was a little hard to figure out - I wasn't sure if I scheduled a pickup or not, there wasn't really a confirmation message. So I dropped it off at a DHL pickup spot, with my prepaid receipt which I printed out. Sure enough, a DHL van showed up later that day to pick up my package, so I explained to the driver what happened.

Anyway, DHL had the best prices for US to Europe.

 

I contacted DHL and they said they wouldn't do an individual shipment, but maybe I was on the wrong part of the website (you're very right about their website being confusing). Could you tell me what you did do schedule a pickup? thanks

 

It was over a year ago so I don't recall the process exactly, but I remember having to dig on their website a little. But you definitely pay online first, rather than paying when you drop off (or when they do the pickup). Maybe you schedule the pickup during the payment process? Because I remember I was surprised that pickup was included. So surprised that I didn't totally believe it, and dropped the package off myself.

I have to say that it's nice when people are willing to ship overseas, but there's no compensation for spending 30-60 minutes doing all the extra research, filling out forms etc. I would say that if it isn't easy to figure out, then don't do it. Especially since you're selling a popular toy (Flint Med/Med) and you just listed it a few days ago. I bet you'll find a domestic buyer.

I'm actually interested myself, except I usually prefer firm toys. How squishy is your Flint? Squishy toys just don't work for me.

 

Yeah I've never shipped anything this large overseas before, so I didn't really know what I signing myself up for!

Its got some squish, but I have other medium firmness toys from BD and this is far firmer

 

Is this still available in the US?

Received flint Monday night and it was in good shape. Would recommend seller to properly clean and package next time before sending. Flint arrived wrapped in just tissue paper. The tracking information was not very good either. All in all it arrived and was not damaged.
