tbh I just give my toys a thorough hand washing in hot water, then a bit of soap, then a thorough rinsing, pat dry with a towel then put them away in my toy cabinet on a dedicated towel. the toys should be free to breath fresh air, not in an air tight container.
I heard it's a good idea to lightly coat them in either cornstarch or cornmeal i cant remember which one exactly...
I've also learned, the best place to clean them by hand is in the shower.
could also just toss em into the dish washer. although ever so often I do 1 cleaning with the Bad Dragon toy cleaning soap. be sure to inspect your toy for any unwanted remaining material on them before storage. I like to wash mine atllegal once a week if I'm not using them just to prevent dust build up.
as for sanitation, long as its rinsed thoroughly afterwards you should be fine.

although alcohol, it wont hurt the toy because BD toys are Premium silicone, but anything above 70% tends to evaporate to quickly to really do anything, so 90% I'd suggest adding some water to lower the concentration down a bit so it doesnt instantly evaporate on you...

I do buy used toys from time to time ... I normally boil them in water for 10 minutes (after thouroughly handwashing them first). But instead of boiling, what about washing them first and then clean them with alcogel normally used for your hands ... especially larg toys are difficult to fit in a boiling kettle/pot ... and we have a lot of alcogel now (Covid-19) to desinfect hands.

Oven works too. 10-15 minutes at 150 °C and everything living on there should be dead. Plus, warm toys feel amazing.
