Regarding toy size for an amatuer

So I'm looking at Bad Dragon's Austin, and I'm caught asking myself over and over "What if the small is TOO small?"

Using the size comparison tool on the site, I compared the small Austin to what I have, a realistic human dildo of about six inches in length. I found my human dildo shares similar girth to that of the medium Austin, but not nearly matching the knot of the small.

Thinking to myself, I imagine that I could use the small Austin's slender form to warm up for the human dick. Then I thought "well, I already have a toy as thick as the medium Austin, why not try?"

Now here's the problem... I don't get a lot of private time, meaning I only ever use my toys once a month or so. I'm pretty damn tight, and I'm always anxious about getting caught by nosy roommates that knock on my door and enter a second later without asking if I'm decent. Can't really do anything about the roommates, but I do cherish my toy time. But again, I'm pretty fucking tight. I take about an hour to work myself comfortably on my human dildo, and that's after maybe an hour of cleaning out and plug-play. Would it be even worth it to upgrade to a medium Austin if I only work it that often and get that tight, or should I just stick to the small?

 

From the sounds of it I'd suggest going for the small, since you don't have that much alone time to possibly use the knot of Medium Austin. Austin's knot is more gradual than most so I think if you had the time you could get Medium Austin's knot in, but you probably won't get the chance. That being said if you're going to be moving or something else will be happening later that gives you more time alone you might want to consider Medium Austin for the long term. I'd imagine you don't want to end up having the same toy in 2 slightly different sizes, but you tell me.

Oh, and because I think it depends I won't vote yet.

 

Small might be little underwhelming for you. I'd strongly suggest getting a trainer toy, like Winston, that has lots of taper for you to help warm up and check out your sweet spots for girth and possibly check if your body allows you to go deep at all. With knots people tend to forget that they need to take the whole shaft before and while knot is working the magic. Some knotted toys are sometimes too long for some people to use, before the knot's circumference comes to full effect. There are some knots, that push themselves inside past certain point, causing unexpected pain spike to some, when the tip and the shaft are being forced deeper into the fun tunnel.

From these two, I'd suggest getting medium, if the toy otherwise strikes your liking, probably giving you extra special sessions, when you finally have that sweet time for yourself.

I don’t plan on moving, as I’m actually renting to own from the current property owners/roommates. Five more years and the whole property is mine.

Though with the training I get, and my liberal usage of lube, I imagine I would get a lot of fun out of whatever size before the knot. My imagination is usually what takes me to climax, but sensations help.

Getting hyped up by the delivery wait and getting underwhelmed or overwhelmed by the size is my biggest fear. However, I can’t afford to get a second toy that I really wouldn’t have an attraction to, like Winston. I guess my best training tool would be my own fingers? I do have a plug I could keep in for a while to condition myself prior to play-time? I know I can go as deep as six inches comfortably according to a previous sexual partner. And yes, having the knot slip in unexpected and have the tip perforate me is another concern, but I guess that would be a risk with any knitted toy if it angles wrong.

 

If it's more the fantasy than sensation you enjoy then I would say go for the Medium. The shaft should be plenty enjoyable, and once you have the time you have the knot for a bit of a challenge.

As for perforation, I don't think you need to worry about it with Austin. He's a little pointy, but more rounded than most canine dildos and even in Medium is thin enough that it should bend inside you fairly easy should the shaft reach the bend in your large intestine. Just don't get him in Firm firmness and you'll be fine.

 

I own 8 bad dragon toys, my favorite toy for stretching to a bigger toy is the XL Winston tongue.
as for toy sizes, let's just say the toy will ALWAYS be bigger than what you thought it would be...
my first toy was large fenrir cuz I didnt think hed be that big. next thing I new, oh sweet Jesus is he a monster. I had to buy the XL Winston tongue to take him, Winston tongue feels incredible btw he starts at 1 inch then gets to 4 inches, now I can take a XL chance and a XL rex balls deep anytime I want.
take be surprised at what you can take. its all about cleaned out, very well lubed, good positioning without abdominal pressure, relax, straighten the toy to your entrance, apply a comfortable amount of pressure, then it's all about patience and breathing technique. when you're relaxed, with a toy pressing into you, you breathing plays a huge role, when you breathe in, you muscles remain tense, but the moment you exhale your muscles relax to their fullest allowing the pressure to nudge the shaft in a little at a time till it just slides in, dont rush, take it out, relube, then back in, as for knotting... knots go in easiest when they're sideways, I do warn you, if you're new, the knot is insanely intense the first time you ever take it, sometimes the knot will only go in 1 side leaving half the knot out, pushing it in while twisting it seems to work well, kinda like a scew. once you hit the half point o. the knot you'll feel it start to go in on it's own, you'll likely have a natural reflex to suck it in, itll lock it place, I like to turn my knot to a upward or downward position once it's in to get that full feeling cuz when knots go in, they also tend to turn sideways because they fit easier sideways.
you can go big if you want with canine toys because the pointy tip makes it so much easier to get them in.
if you dont clean yourself out and lube up well any dildo will be difficult to take, it's all about technique.
I'll gotten to the point where I know how to relax and breathe properly so that I can take a XL chance within about 30seconds, your speed of penetration will increase as you master your techniques and stretch. having a stretch toy to me is mandatory. Winston tongue is thopinion stretcher in my opinion.


did I mention dont rush things, your butt doesn't have a lot of nerves in there so if you rush and tear something you WILL NOT feel it, you'll only get blood, so no matter how many times it takes you, be patient, and use plenty of lube.
oh yeah, it usually helps to apply lube outside roughly the radius of the knot so it doenscheeks unwanted friction.
I'd say go with a medium and ALWAYS go with medium firmness, soft firmness is way too flimsy, firm is only for if you want a very firm dick, medium is realistic whilst still flexible.

 

I messed up one time and rushed cuz I got impatient, I got the knot in, but realized it was a mistake to rush things cuz a basically because a faucet of blood all night. PATIENTS PATIENTS LUBE!

oh yeah, the knot will squish to your size to pop inside you long as you do your breathing and patience properly.

 

dont worry about the pointy tip, they're far more flimsy than you think, I ride my XL rex balls deep and knotted quite hard and his tip doesnt bother me at all.
long as your lubed up nicely, if you dont have a lube injector I suggest you get one, otherwise you'll need to apply lube multiple times to get lube to reach deep inside you.

 

xl rex bonds just fine in me, the only toy I have than if difficult to bend around is my XL chance.

 

you're over concerned, dont expect to take a toy balls deep the first ride, tbh a toy isnt fun if you can balls deep it the first go.
perforation isnt your concern, tearing from rushing the stretching process is the biggest concern. it riding without enough lube.

 

your time of an hour, reminds me of my fist time with my first toy large fenrir, it will be like that until either you learn techniques or stretch enough to bot need techniques.
my first time took about a hour on average to stretch. now, with proper technique, only about 30 seconds to a minute. about 5 minutes of clean out time.

As for my last little moment of free time a couple weeks back... I made an observation, which I will detail below.

So, I have two toys I use for anal training; a thin-ish plug (approx. 1.5' diameter at thickest), and a 6' long textured human dildo (approx. 2' diameter all the way down). Both of them are particularly firm silicone with very little squishiness. I imagine they're what the highest firmness of BD would be. It's a bit of an uncomfortable stretch and a hell of a lot of grunting, but I can take the dildo to the balls. I'm quite liberal with my lube usage, and use water-based lubes.

The observation I've made is that, after usage, the silicone toys actually get bent out of shape. The tip of my plug is noticeable for sure, and thin enough to understand, but... the dildo also got a curve after about 7 minutes-ish of me bouncing on it. Is this normal?! I imagine that's where my large intestine bends into the colon, but is it because my ass is that tight? Is this deformation something I'd have to worry about with a Bad Dragon of medium firmness?

There's no blood after use, but the opening of my anus is often left an angry red with a stinging sensation for a couple hours (with only stinging sensations when I touch with my hand for a couple days after, though not when I use the washroom).

 

Late response, but the toys bending doesn't sound normal. My Medium Chance is about 9.5 inches of usable length so it goes well past the bend, but it always goes back to its normal shape afterwards. I'm curious where you got it because a dildo deforming after use makes it sound like said dildo isn't entirely made out of silicone, and not the best quality.

As for the stinging, that might mean you were a bit rough and caused a lot of friction even with lube. If the dildo is as firm as you make it sound and it has some texture to it that would happen even with liberal lubing. Also, my XL Kona's base is firm and even it has a bit of squish to it. It sounds like your dildo is firmer than anything BD offers.
