I had a bunch of little Pico Bong + other brand vibrators that I got back in 2012-2014 and all of them worked perfectly fine when I first bought them. From about 2016 until now they had been in storage and I did not use them. I went to the store and bought fresh batteries and 2 of the 5 toys seem to have stopped working even with new batteries in them.
I also have two rechargeable toys - one from Lelo and one from JimmyJane and both of those work fine.
So I guess my real question is this:
1. Do all vibrators stop working eventually?
2. Do battery-operated vibrators break down completely sooner than rechargeable vibes?
3. Or is this only about the price and quality of motor so expensive vibes (60-120$) just last longer than the cheaper ones (around 20$)?
Any help is much appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read this!
P.S. Upon closer inspection, I see that the 2 toys which don't work at the moment have what appears to be a little crust of battery acid in the deep end of the toy (I took tissues and wiped off the side closest to me, and as deep as I could reach with my finger and some tissues). Is it worth buying some pipe cleaners to try and rub that out of there to see if they work again or once batteries break down is that kind of a permanent destruction?
