I've noticed through crawling around the WTB/WTS listings that I never see Asia/SEA in there, does anyone know why?

Language barrier and cheap local suppliers (preference on cheap plastic over expensive silicone) make it so that very little "western" stuff gets popular in Asia. There are some hobbyists, but they find more local markets to trade their toys, if they feel inclined.

Legal restrictions on bringing in items of a sexual nature are likely a big factor as well:

Many countries, including those in East Asia, still have strong obscenity laws. I know enforcement within a country might be more relaxed, but I imagine government officials being much more scrutinizing with imported packages.

Interesting. I just went through customs for South Korea a week ago and they asked about firearms and prescribed medication, but not porn or sex toys. I had 6 BD toys in a box in my suitcase, and I know they checked it because they re-wrapped it in tape. Guess I'll have the only flared chance in the country for the year I'm here.

I do not know for sure but maybe it has to be with the distance and the shipping.
I would personally think about it twice before offering my self to ship to Asia. I sent a MK bag to Japan to my sister in law and it was a little complicated because of the value of the item. Japanese customs office ask me to send the purchase receipt and to explain what it was and why was I sending that.

But I also wouldn't send a dildo to other palces, like Mexico for example (my homeland) because I have heard they open the packages and ask a lot of questions when they find sex toys, and in many cases they don't let them pass or let them pass but the items get damaged in the process.

So I would personally would avoid any factor that could compromise the item or end up in a failed shipping.
