That's a good question! I tried to google to see if I could get a decibel number as perception of noise varies from person to person. All I could find was reviews like this one, from vibrators.com: Understanding Sound and Vibration Here at Vibrators.com, we test each and every vibrator for vibration and sound levels. Our Vibrator Institute doesn't test vibrators the way you might think; instead, we use scientific equipment that reads vibration and decibel levels. Based on these levels, each vibrator we sell gets a rating. The Power Level ratings are Gentle, Pleasurable, Intense and Unrelenting. The Sound Level ratings are Whisper, Purr, Hum, Buzz and Thundering. The Womanizer Premium has a rating of Pleasurable Purr. This means it vibrates at a medium speed, and has a fairly quiet sound level. My perception is that it's fairly quiet, and the sound depends on how high of a setting you're using. Also, it shuts off when it's not in contact with anything, although that feature doesn't always work.
yes, it's still available. I should add (in response to a question) that it has the original charging cord and works. It's waterproof, so the charger connects magnetically to the unit, which is cool. I have a couple of other toys that do that too
