    Hello everyone.

So, I recently ordered a toy and I was very excited because it looked beautiful. The color the design, the texture, everything about it was perfect.

I was so happy when I got the package that I opened it inmediately and... I noticed it had this smell of tobacco comming from it:confused:!!!

I contacted the company and they explained what happened anf offered me a new one :) but at that moment, when I opened it, it kinda broke my illusions because I was really looking forward to have it in my handsa nd, of course, play with it :(...

Have you had any experiencies of having been looking forward to get a toy and being disappointed?

    Please share :).

It came new, smelling of tobacco? That is disappointing. Did you get the new one then? I haven't had a similar experience, other then the porn store cheap toys that smell of rubber/chemical

    Hi.
Yeah, it was a weird smell. I contacted the store and they explained to me that they had a problem with a defective batch of silicone from their supplier.

They were very nice and made a new toy for me and it was in perfect condition this time :D . I love it :p, the design is cool, is made of platinum silicone and it really impressed me in use.
I even bought a different model from the same store :).

Ooh I got a story. Ultimately it was 100% on me fault wise.
I was super excited when I turned 18, first thing I did was order a small Flint in medium from BD. Well 2.1ish in diameter is too thick for me and the silicone too firm. I still can't get it in completely. I over estimated myself ha.
But I'm in the process of fixing that, training myself with other toys.
But a lesson was learned!! To take measurements seriously and put thought into firmness.

Well, I can understand it. Flint a very sexy toy but wow, it's girthy. And those ridges!!
I'd love to have it on small or medium (because it's so hot) but all I can take is mini in soft :p.

Something like that happened to me with Ika. I was very excited because I love tentacles, but when I played with it I was like: " what is this? What is going on ?" Because it was a medium in firm and I am very sensitive so it was to much stimulation for me. I was very disipointed:oops:.

I have a flint i bought in super soft (packer). You feel it but it doesn't irritate me like some textured ones. Its very squooshy, makes a great stress ball and is fun to use too. Hard to describe tho

In my opinion, if you pick the right size and firmness, that's more than half the battle. I'm also a big believer in suction cups, when they are available for that model. And learn what you like (knots, bulges, smooth vs. textured, toys that taper to a wide base, etc).

The other thing I've decided is that all the toys are good for something, you just have to figure out what that thing is. Try different positions and different setups, different furniture, thrusting vs. grinding, using the entire toy versus just the first half, etc etc.

    Those are great advices.
Certainly the firmness and the texture are super important. And do ir is to know what do tou want the toy for.

It takes some experimentation to find out but it's a fun journey (I just wish it was cheaper though hehe :p).

Haha, an stress ball. That's a great idea :D.

And I never thought about it but you are right. A packer could be a great option for me since they are squishier and the texture is smoother.
Thank you for the advice :).

True. Two of my three disappointments stem from that.
My first toy was too small. I had been using makeshift toys before and selected the size based on those. But they were much stiffer, so when I got the silicone toy the knot just went in without any effort... But after years sitting in my closet it found a new owner, who likes it much.
The second toy I ordered went to the other extreme. Since I did not want to waste more money I bought something that was pushing my limits. It fit, but it wasn't (and still isn't) an everyday toy for me.
After those two, I had better luck with picking the right sizes. But then I learned that surface roughness/detail is another thing to pay attention to.
