Bad Dragon news... New designs, drops, colors, retirements etc

Bad Dragon recently announced their version of a Vac-U-Lock hole: "Dragon Mount"

Dragon Mount is only available on 8 designs right now, and 6 out of 8 are models that can already be made with a built in suction cup. I think the BD built-in suction cups are really awesome, so it seems kind of pointless to give them a Dragon Mount option too (unless it's for fucking machine use I guess?). The only toys that can get a Dragon Mount so far (but no suction cup option) are Chance Flared and Chance Unflared. That's very cool but in the past, it was possible to request a suction cup on Chance from customer service, and if you agreed that it was okay if the suction cup might flop, they would do it (they might have ended that policy though). I wish they would focus on getting Dragon Mounts only for the toys that can't have a suction cup, like Baron and Flint.

Another thing... it seems like different manufacturers do Vac-U-Lock differently. I have Vac-U-Lock toys from Mr Hankey and Twisted Beast, and they are very different. Even my Mr Hankey toys, it seems like the Vac-U-Lock holes are not 100% exactly the same on every toy. So I wonder if a Dragon Mount toy would work well with a Mr Hankey suction cup. So far, there is no BD suction cup available. That's why I guess Dragon Mount is supposed to be for machine users.

It looks like Bad Dragon is adjusting prices downward by making their new toy sizes bigger (?) Bad Dragon prices are based on size... if a new model Medium size toy is the same size as a different model's Large size, it's like "getting more silicone for less". I hope that makes sense? New design Seraphina is 11 inches usable length and 3 inch knot (2.94) at size Medium (and priced like a Medium). In the past, that might have been labeled Large or XL, and priced higher. Same for Echo's Horn, the Medium size is 10 inches usable length and 3.3 inches diameter. In the past that might have been a Large size, and more expensive.

There are so many new indie toy makers on Etsy now, and competition from other mainstream toy makers like Mr Hankey. I wonder if Bad Dragon is trying to claw back some of their buyers by trying to adjust their prices (which are probably the highest in the industry).

Maybe this is just my imagination though?
