a pissed off customer who didn't get the thing you say was delivered 2 days ago but USPS says won't be delivered til next week

 

Not sure what happened without seeing for myself, but Amazon may have chosen UPS Surepost to ship your package, which is a UPS service where UPS will transfer your shipment to the United States Postal Service at some point between their warehouse and the delivery location. It could be that when UPS transferred the package to USPS, Amazon's tracking page erroneously translated that to mean the package was "delivered".

Either way, I'm sorry you didn't get your package when you expected to ;-; hopefully it arrives as soon as possible.

 

Finally my loot crate arrived. Sadly I didn't get it earlier than some of the American gamers this time that do the unboxings.

That's why I love prime. Free 2-day shipping and if it takes longer all I have to do is politely bitch and they'll give me a gift card or bonus months of prime.

It will do that, which would account for a 20-30% increase, but it's usually more like 75% more expensive.

I don't know off the top of my head if there's a workaround. I've only used Amazon a few times for smaller purchases, so paying more wasn't a big deal. Could be a real piss off for larger purchases though.

 

that's when you just use aliexpress and settle for the cheap chinese knockoff product for a tenth the cost lol
