The Flop Watch

This elusive little jerk anthro dragon evaded me yesterday. I saw it pop up and scrolled past it but went back to get it and someone must have had it in their cart. I checked back throughout the night and spotted it a few times but could never nab it.

This morning I was victorious. Hoping that he proves to be sloppy seconds color with some glow.

I've been hunting for a medium anthro dragon to replace one I sold ages ago in a solid color but I'm so picky nothing ever came up. White and blue tho? Pff, how can I go wrong <.<

 

Kinda makes me think to Reese's Pieces. It's "Reese's Piece"!

 

Hmm, was it a medium in soft? I had begun wondering if the custom I ordered ended up flopping since it took nearly a month to make.

I wish the order status page would show you a log of when it changes from one status to another instead of just what the current status is.

 

After a long, quiet week, some toys have begun to drop! A lot of pretty stuff, a lot of pinks and purples too. If you've been waiting for some colorful tentacles or tongues, looks like it might be your lucky day!

 

It was! A medium in soft but no fault reason apart from 'rogue color'. It has the spooky seconds coloration and glow but it seems like the white and blue marble is very splotchy so it could be one that didn't meet what they needed for a custom :3

 

Jesus every time I see cool sheaths I literally have to stop and remind myself that I STILL don't have a penis (and I still own a sheath). Weird that they're using old molds but I dig what they're calling "bio-luminescent" colors.

And HELL, I would take BOGO 50% off! I'll even make them flyers. "LICK VARKA'S BUTTHOLE, GET A FREE TOY."

 

They're not using old molds, these are just old toys that have been sitting around unlisted for some reason. Bioluminescent Green and Bioluminescent Aqua used to be the toy-exclusive colors of the single-size sheath. Presumably they discontinued them because reasons, like everything else.

Some new stuff today, nothing exciting though. Maybe I'm just disappointed that they're continuing to reuse holiday colors from past years (what was the point of the end-of-year "colorful" special then?). Maybe I'm just tired. Maybe I just don't like the Rex model, and half the drop seemed to consist of them. I dunno. Maybe you'll feel differently.

 

Cherry Cordial was always one of my favorite special colors, I'm kinda sad I had to sell the one toy I had in it (small Nova was just too small.) Unless I find some super cheap thing in it, though, prooobably won't be getting one.

Edit: If I had unlimited money, I would totally get a Bruce in Cherry Cordial. That would be gorgeous.

 

omigosh omigosh I saw this alert, so I went looking, and GASPED. when I saw this. So of course I put it in my cart:

and it said "Sorry, somebody else already has this in their cart." and that was the cherry on my crap sundae today. I was SO DONE. And then I hit refresh and it?? was?? In my cart?!!

Hit the Checkout button so hard I left a crater. MINE. Mine mine mine mine~~ they made something this cool-looking TINY for once~ Like meeee~~~

Contemplating on getting a David. Probably not. If I did, it would be a medium in 3 or 5. I would really love a creppy sale based on insects/whatever with oozing, blue-glowing sloppy, sludgey seconds. Of course Xar on sale.... Scorn and Elden too, because they are buggy too.
Possibly getting this Sleipnir. Been wanting a more realistic fantasy horse, plus it's in 2, discounted, and the sale.... Maybeeee. I know I would be able to fit it.

 

Haha, I had him in my cart briefly too, at the beginning of the drop!! Congrats, he's a really nice one. If only THAT kind of marble were a Valentine's special...

which in hindsight would be better probably because people would know there will be flops so they would look, rather than now which they don't announce most drops and people that are looking for a toy dont know

 

Yeah, that way they can pay the person that posts them to only come in once or twice a week.

 

The random drops aren't fun but from a business perspective I understand why they stopped it.

 

Another couple hundred today, about an hour ago it seems (I was out shopping), and it at least seems more interesting than yesterday's from what I've seen so far. More pinks and reds, but what really catches my eye is the recent Swampwyrms in earthy fades. I wonder if they're planning to finally give it a full release and are brainstorming natural colors?

 

Eeeeeee really struggling with this guy he's like a dessert anole and I really wanna sell my plain-colored Nox and replace itttt...
