The Justin Beiber Roast

WTF?
That's all that needs to be said here.

I mean, come on! Really, people? Or are they just throwing out roasts willy-nilly and anyone should get one. Look, I can understand William Shatner, Gerore Takei, Joan Rivers, Pamela Anderson, David Hasselhoff, Chevy Chase (he used to be funnier)... so why exactly is Beiber raised the status of people like that? I mean roasting is the comedic insults of toasting. I don't think he should be toasted at all.
What has he done to deserve this?
In the beginning he was the love of every 12 year old girl when they got over Edward the sparkly vampire. Singing uninspired lyrics and making girls swoon with his hair. So he was the butt of jokes for it, but this is the music industry, it's going to happen eventually.
Then he decided to try a hand at a political (/ethical) ideals disagreeing with abortion. Do yourself a favor, shut up and let the adults talk. This is was quietly hushed.
So his reputation had been going downhill. But no, he couldn't have that, so what did he do? Become the bad boy. And we know all how that turned out. Went a little too far with it, just so you keep your popularity and not be seen as some little boy. Screwed the pooch, kid.

So he laid low for a bit and supposedly he comes back and "matured"... or so the news would tell you what to believe.
What does he deserve a roast for?
What's next, Knighthood? A planet named after him?

I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

 

What are they going to do? Just show his career? Isn't that worse than any Roasters could do?

Well, with those odds, it would only take 3, which wouldn't surprise me.

 

Well the Friar's Club cut all ties with the Comedy Central roasts many years ago. I think it was around the time that Flava Flav got roasted. CC wanted to just roast people that were mostly hated or not taken seriously so they could get big name people to boost viewership and ratings.

The best way to put it is that the original roasts were more laughing with the roastee, rather than at. Now it's the other way around.

 

Yeah, I see that. The whole idea of it has been lost. Kinda like the over-commercialization of holidays. They'll start roasting people of ISIS if it'll get them ratings.

 

Honestly, I thought he'd finally fallen out of the public eye. Hadn't heard anything about him in at least half a year. Then this happens.

 

I'm guessing his PR agent told him to lie low. If I was his agent I'd kick him in the nuts and tell him to knock that shit off.
