Well he's been gone for 3 or 4 days now, so I don't expect him to return... He might have been "captured" by somebody, because even though it's a standard household cat, he looked a bit like at least his father was purebred.

You know how bad things come in threes?

I'm waiting on the three right now.

It's been the first time in a long damn time that I've felt motivated, active and positive for once, and all it took was one conversation to make me cry and want to jump off a bridge again. Somehow, I always end up being the one feeling guilty about the way I act towards people who are causing me grief.

You need to your emotional state as best you can. I'm like that as well about some things. The slightest thing can ruin a day, because it cuts so deep. You may need to avoid situations you know can cause issues. Maybe not the person/people entirely, but avoid the topic or issue, and confront it later (if it even is something that needs addressing.)

i have one cat that, when she was younger, would disappear for a week or more in the summer. she'd return eventually.

if he does return, which he might, you can put on a collar with breakaway buckle (for if they get stuck, they can get free) so people know it's someones' cat. we keep flea collars on ours, loose enough they can wiggle free.
our grey cat did once... when we were leaving for vacation, he came back without his flea collar. XD

it's not strange for cats to keep multiple families.

Indeed. You don't own a cat, they own you. All in all, I do hope he or she stays safe, and comes back at least for a visit. :<

@vahaala it is probably mating season for cats...maybe.

As far as me, I'm wondering at a new coworker. He's my age, super cute, and so far has shown to have a good working ethic. Go to Facebook to add him as a friend...see he is married with two kids. Umm...I just don't understand why you would be married at 20. The kids maybe were not planned...idk they guy's situation. It makes me...envious that people my age are having serious relationships and planning on getting married but at the same time I kinda judge them like "Oh, you're too young to get married, you'd be missing out on a lot of life experiences!" My dad married my mom when he was 20. I was born when he was 25, but my mom and dad separated 9 months after i was born. And he says a lot of people who marry young usually don't stay together a long time.

It just bothers me I guess, that people I am attracted to either are jerks, uninterested in me, or have kids and/or are married =/

Sorry to hear that Jazzi....and I agree, it's generally better to wait a while. To my best knowledge, my mom married my dad when she was ~21, and he was ~23. They had me ~2 years later, and then my brother (who almost was miscarried due to mom being in the hospital after a car accident) ~3 years after me. They divorced when I was ~6 and he was ~3, making for a ~8 year marriage. A bit better than some, but as it turned out my dad was a bit of a deadbeat, and still is somewhat. Ask him if he can be around to help with something a month or two in advance, and he'll say sure and that he'll make time for it. But as I often say, he's got "Incredibly Bad Schedule Luck", because SOMETHING always manages to come up, and you never find out about it until you're calling and asking why he's X Hours late or even a few days later and asking why he never showed up. Only time he always pulls through is coming down to pick my brother and I up and take us up to Grandmomma and Grandad's place for Christmas. :T

(And yes, I always said and still say "Grandmomma" for my dad's mom, and we still do Christmas gatherings. In case you are wondering, I call my mom's mom "Granny". Helps avoid confusion in my mind.)

In the last hour I made three attempts at making circuit boards and all failed. The fucking "supposedly great" transfer paper isn't doing what it should, and I knew it was junk from a bad experience before, but nooooo, I talked myself into it.

"New printer! Increase the fuser temperature!" I reasoned with myself. Self, just a reminder, you're an idiot. You have the ebay el cheapo straight from china paper that works great each time, every time. And yet my brain decided to be rebellious and use the old stuff that cost me $30 for 10 sheets that aren't even as useful as a single roll of shit tickets...

I wanted the next revision of my tube amp done yesterday, and today was a joke in the eyes of progress...I got some new glass I want to listen to! Oh well, wake up early tomorrow and get cracking with the hope that things pan out.

So, I think that was like the shortest dating period I've had with anyone since high school. Dude seemed cool and was good in bed, but hey guess what, he has tons of personal problems and was getting way too serious way too fast for me (only three weeks.) Told him today that I didn't want to date anymore and sorry and all that, and now hours later he's basically freaking out. Super glad I keep finding the dudes who appear to be confident then end up clingy, fairly demanding, and trying to use me for rides and shit.

Anyway, I'm not really all that broke up about it. I'm just annoyed that he's trying to make drama out of it. I do not do drama.

I'm kinda sad to hear that ><

I'm lucky to have found a few people in life who enjoy my clinginess

    Thank you, I appreciate it.

Clinginess by itself is not really a horrible thing, but when it's compounded by other personal issues and not stellar circumstances, I just can't deal with it. Often it makes ending things a lot messier, too. =/

I'm very clingy and happy to be with someone I like, as long as they appear to want me around. The moment they make it clear they don't, or make me feel that it's not a good idea to be around, I leave. Not sure if that's good or bad......I generally don't make demands to them, and if you mean what I think you do by "rides and shit", I'm only actually sexual like that with those I feel safe around, and only if they're the only ones around, despite my flirtatious tendencies when I'm otherwise comfortable. :|

Oh, I meant rides like actual "please drive 40 mins both ways to take me to a friend's house" kind of deals. Spent five years being the person with a car who drove the other person literally everywhere only to end up feeling pretty much used at the end of it, so I have a low tolerance now.

Forty minutes both ways by car? Sheesh. Guy needs to get a bike. It's only a four hour round trip, plus however long you stay at your destination, and assuming the road isn't hilly as balls.

4 days with a tracking number more useless than a limp noodle of spaghetti. My gut doubts it'll be sent this weekend.

I brought my hopes up once again when they said they had a pick up time scheduled for today.

Back to organizing and writing that beware then e__e.

    *groan*

Which mailing company is the one that gives tracking numbers that are absolutely useless for like the first three days?

The only reason it's useless is because USPS doesn't have the actual physical thing. Like. She paid for the shipping, got the label, everything is all boxed up and ready to be picked up...but the maker keeps missing every single gosh darn pick up time from them. She says she had one scheduled and if she did, something would have updated on the page like saying it was at a USPS sorting facility or something.

USPS is totes fine like, I still love them since they've been more than reliable for me in the past (like getting peoples stuff I send to them a day or two early, being super kind and getting stuff done right) but this is all on her shoulders for not being able to stick to a pick up time with them (also im 99% sure she doesn't have any means of transportation to a post office as well).
