Reminds me of what Gene Simmons's son tried to get away with. He was tracing Bleach and thought nobody would notice.

But nope! My first tattoo was a gaming tattoo (a simple Marker from Dead Space tattoo) and then my second tattoo was a large hunter Metroid spanning the outside of my forearm! Now I got these bad boys.

 

good. That would be a pretty ambitious first tattoo, especially in a single session.

 

Tattoos are great! I just hate how every time I get one though I'm left wanting more. :v

 

Tell me about it. In six days I'll be covering more of my right arm. Really excited about it.

No one will know the strength it takes to keep driving once a spider has dropped down into your car and is mere inches from your face T_T

 

I want to get a tattoo, but I have to save up. And you know, get the courage cause I'm sure it'll hurt more than I think it will.

 

I do plan on colouring it! Some people say it looks nice just as lineart. I CAN'T DECIDE. < o >

I think the tattoo looks good as it is.

 

imo the only reason not to color line art is if you want the main emphasis to be on the forms of the subject.
Though if that's what you're going for, you may want to consider getting it shaded to give the forms weight and volume

@Misskin @Grimmyr I was also thinking of shading the piece rather than full colour.

The piece looks lovely as it is but it is very hard to see where each character within the piece begins and ends. Though that might be due to the swelling at the minute.

A bit of grey scale shading would certainly make it pop out more.

Try a digital version of the piece first before you make your final decision.

 

Im going to be staying in a hotel room for the very first time during the con. Popping all my cherries.
EDIT: After further review, fuck that. It would be super dumb to spend $100+ on a room ill barely even be in. Especially considering i wont even be conscious for most of that time.

 

All this tattoo talk makes me desperately want a tattoo T.=.T

 

Speaking of tattoos, we normally give out those temporary tattoos to the younger attendees that come to our MLP events. I said I'd collect all the ones we didn't sell or give out, and on orientation day for the convention, I was going to walk in with two sleeves worth of them. I'm talking wrist to shoulder.

I hope that stuff isn't toxic in large doses.
