Believe you me, there are some *magical* people in this forum. But there's an overwhelming air of either "I don't know where my life is going, so I'm going to complain about that every chance I get" or "I know where I'm going, and it's overwhelmingly negative, but I don't care anymore, so I'm going to make it a part of my personality".

I know how you feel, Gerbilfluff, and agree: It puts me off as well. If you feel the best thing to do is disengage that's unfortunate but understandable. Negativity can certainly rub off, and getting away from it might be the best decision.

I feel like this is my fault. I'm sorry...

 

oh, gosh. I really need to follow my own "don't post while on heavy painkillers" rule, 'cause I do NOT want to be remembered as being as salty as I was here.

It's really nobody in particular's fault-- that was the Hydrocodone for my bladder pains talking. The long and the short of it is, though, I'm done; I've finished my monster dong collection. And even as I was pointing fingers for *others* not knowing what to do next, *I'm* not sure what to do either. This is best talked over with a therapist, though, instead of inflicting it on all you fine folks.

Special props to @Juliamon, @Misskin, @Brynjhulf, and @YogSothoth for being a *special* cut above awesome, in my eyes. If you wanted to get ahold of me, I'd be thrilled, but don't feel obligated. Think I'm just ready to move on, wherever post-monster-dongs takes me. Take care, all!

This is one of the reasons I left before for a while, and why I find it hard to stay. I love the community that is build, and many people are awesome, but it also feels like a there is a lot of teenage angst, and that is something I have outgrown, I think. I am hanging on for now, because change can only happen from the inside, yaddayadda.
