Is anyone else very, VERY concerned about the ConcernedStudent1950 group at the University of Missouri? Making demands, inciting mob violence, shutting out media reporters, and pushing a very obvious SJW agenda?

How has our universities fallen to this point? Ideas can no longer be challenged, free speech is being demonized, agendas are being pushed and nothing is being done about them. And a whole mess of other issues.

This is the issue with radical liberals. While I'm rather liberal myself, these people are less Martin Luther King Jr. or Mahatma Ghandi like they want to act like they are, and more Hitler with cheaply drawn peace signs over their obvious intentions. The German people as a majority didn't approve of Hitler once they realized what his real intentions were, but by then Hitler and his SS/Gestapo were already making sure that anyone who spoke out, Germanic or not, got the same treatment as the as the more commonly known victims of the Holocaust.

Likewise, I would prefer to think that most people following these individuals, essentially extremists and hypocrites, are only doing so out of fear of being labeled things like "Communist", "Transphobic", or "Misogynistic" and having everyone else turn on them as such, since it has been shown that if enough people shout those things at you, many more will ignore the facts and persecute you anyways, anywhere from being arrested or fired from your job.

Welp, I've got myself a long ass week...so close and yet so far.

 

Just letting people know: if you're comfortable with showing strangers your body for money, DO IT. I've started camming every day and I'm making a butt load. Inb4 I'm a whore (somehow people will think that) honestly it's the best decision I've made in my job life.

 

I think this video demonstrates a lot of what you've said here, and it happens on both sides of every issue, but it seems to be accepted by the public and media in certain cases

trying to get someone fired through a letter writing campaign from a bunch of people who probably have no idea who the guy is except from , harassing them about their family member dying of cancer, making statements like "I won't apologize, I did what I thought was right" to clear all guilt, trying to equate someone with a child murderer, calling someone and everyone that watches their videos online their enemy, using the media to try to mislead people who then "reached out for a comment" through a single tweet and claimed they would make no comment or respond at all because of a difference in ideology and all of it may have just been schilling out to get support on a crowdfunding campaign to handle their existing legal costs.
I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

are there real issues that need addressing going on in the world? yes. are there a ton of people who will relentlessly pursue someone with no more evidence than a witch hunt being whipped up by assholes using those issues to their own advantage? fuck yes

 

Life's TL;DR, change cannot be a social movement. Change must start and end with you.
That's why feminism, antifeminism, vegans and whatnot aren't changing anything for good, like never. Once you turn something good into a "let's do it together" it's most likely to get corrupted and misleaded.
Though I support antifeminism, or at least the ones that use logic and the same studies the feminist use to backfire their asses off. At least I get to laugh.
Yesterday FFXIV patch 3.1, released. Cleared everything except for the raid and the trial. A friend cleared the 24men raid. I'm clearing it today. I'm a bit of a "basement dwelling loser" XDDDDD

 

Cleaning and organizing day in the House of the Yog. Dishes, laundry, grocery shopping, taking out the trash, and cleaning the hamster cage, if the tiny thing is willing to get into a box. Plus some extra thingies, if I get round to it. Already went through my todo list and did some small tasks that were overdue, and got my finances in order.

My mom understands that her going vegan isn't going to change the world. She does however, know that it making her feel better, both in terms of her morals and in terms of her overall health. Same with me wanting to be pescatarian. It's not meant to be some political statement, it's a personal decision for one's personal views and health.

It's good money. It's just a matter of whether or not personal morals get in the way, if your comfortable with your body, and whether or not family, friends, or others with influence get in the way.
